Cake and Grandpa's Revenge

Stewie and Dustin's Marissa both had birthdays this past week and the boys built them a cake and skyped with them.  Cake building is serious business.
Also, you can never have too many sprinkles.
In other news Papa Dale hates us:

Winterfest

Last Friday night we went to Winterfest with Dean, Wyatt and their parents.  Jens was pretty bundled up and excited to go.
Spiderman was pretty excited to protect his sister from the evil green eyed Dogzilla.
Problem solved!
The office was the warming up spot and chocolate milk dispensary.

Since Winterfest is mostly about the winetasting the boys spent most of their time on the ice slide:
After eating at Sojourner's Ryker relieved himself Big Daddy style.

Heli Cold!

Why is Jens so happy?  It is because her brothers are leaving on Saturday morning and leaving her with Mommy and then with Mama Rae!
Where were her brothers going?  In the helicopter to Entiat!  Sweet bravo sweet, Ghostrider!"
Be sure to notice the aviator jacket being worn by the wannabe aviator.
The temperature at take off was 19* and after elevation it was much, much colder.
Otherwise it was a perfect day to heli-chopper around in the air.
Bob and Aaron each got to go on rides from Entiat while the boys and I hunkered down in their pickup.
We came back up the river and over the plateau to Waterville.  It was such a beautiful day that even Waterville looked pretty.  Who would of thunk it?
What?  I couldn't hear you all the way on the top of this mountain, overlooking the kingdom.
That's Lake Chelan shot from over Waterville.
 Those are pretty mountains.
More pretty mountains with Mt. Adams on the left.

Yeah, I like mountains.  How'd you guess?
The boys always fight over who gets turn off all the buttons.  Today it was Ryker's turn, but Rock made sure to hover close by in case he missed one.
This is what the help looks like from the outside.
He even knows just how to pull the rotor break.
And no helicopter ride is complete without getting to play in Len's boat while Papa Dale pulls the chopper into the shop.

Post Christmas Hangout

The boys will tell you that they have been productive during this break, but the documentation doesn't match up.
Too be fair maybe they don't know what productive means.
I guess they have been productive at getting high scores on Temple Run.
Jensley has been productive at putting away mushed apples and bananas.
Rock has been dominating Lego Star Wars and learning lots of vocabulary words playing online.
The boys productively destroyed each other playing Mario Kart while Jens managed to sleep through the madness.
Yeah, they showed Rissa all sorts of tricks.
Then they talked Papa Dale into letting them roast marshmallows in the house.
Some of us wondered what would happen if the marshmallow caught on fire, and Ryker calmed us by showing us what to do when it catches on fire.
At least they did a good job of stoking the fire.
Oh, and they guilted Rissa into throwing them a birthday party before she abandoned them for Arizona.
