The Year of the Gyker

Baby Gyker is now three!  It's hard to believe that this happy, cuddly little boy used to be a holy terror with colic.  He sure is a great little guy.
Jensley loves him but still isn't sure that she trusts him.
"He's behind me, isn't he?"
One of Ryker's presents was a motorized Mater four wheeler.  Rock loved playing with it while Ryke was distracted with cake.
DeA made a pretty cool tie-die cake with many different colors.  I'm excited to see what weird colors the bowel movements will be in the near future.
Jensley is pretty sure that she likes cake.  Pretty sure indeed.
Ryker really loves cakes but does a pretty good job of keeping it in his mouth and off of his Mario shirt.
Jensley doesn't care about her shirts, she already learned that her clothes magically change and clean themselves, her diaper too!
"Ya!!!!  Cake finger painting is the best!"
"Where has this been my whole life?"
After Mama Zista gave Jens a bath she gave her her birthday present a little early.  It is a little doll with a bottle and everything.  Jens was pretty stinking excited to finally be bigger than someone and get to treat the baby how Ryker treats her.
She was pretty excited to feed the baby the bottle and carry her by her heel, just like Ryker.

Ryker eventually got to enjoy his present and rode the heck out of it.
Mama Rae and Papa Dale got Ryker a big wheel tricycle.  We've got ourselves a biker gang brewin' here!
Happy Birthday, Ryker!  You've come a long way since this:

Smiley McJens and Her Bros

I don't think there's any secret that we love our Jens.  She's so kissable and lovable and happy.
She already has DeA wrapped around her finger which means I'll have two girls screaming at me when I shoot the first boyfriend.
Why is Jens so cute?  Because she looks like her mommy, that's why.
She loves watching her brothers play (at least when she's protected by Mommy, she's not ready to get caught up in their playing just yet).
Her bedhead is pretty awesome, too.
This isn't the best picture, but she woke doing this tonguey smiling thing that was pretty adorable.
The boys love to make milkshakes with Papa Dale (notice that Ryker is blurry from jumping up and down from excitement) and Jens lately tries to join in the fun.
Ever see the movie Inception?  Well, here's Superman watching a Superman cartoon.  I'm not sure if that's really inception, because holy crap can anybody understand that movie?  And why didn't Alfred just bring the kids to the dude instead of him trying to travel?  I didn't get it.
Oh, and he's not just watching Superman, he's studying Superman to learn some moves and ideas.
Speaking of great sleeping hair...

Two Random Videos

I forgot to post these two videos with the last entry, so here they are now.  This first one is everybody singing to Rock for his birthday.
This second one is Ryker talking.  He has a distinctly Ryker way of communicating and I realized that we don't have enough videos of him.

Birthday for a Rock

Holy crap, can you believe that this kid is already five?  I know I can't...
Even Ryker was in disbelief, but some of that might have been trying a pizza that wasn't Hawaiian.
I asked if he was happy for Rock and he made this face, so maybe?
Rock was so excited all day that he started waking me up at 5 am asking if he could open presents and get dressed for school.
He got a pretty sweet haul, including a "Red Mario Kart shirt" from Hudson (Ryker calls it a red Mario shirt only because on Mario Kart there is red Mario and Green Mario, Luigi).
Notice the frosting all around his mouth.  He liked his cake.
Ryker also really, really liked his cake (please note that Chayo, Lindsea, Hudister Huddy Pants and Babis are in the background - thanks for coming everybody!
Lil' Deano brought Rock a sweet bulldozer!  Thanks Deano and Wyatt!
Ryker latched on to the Red Mario shirt and hasn't taken it off yet (yet is now 36 hours later...).
Ruth got Rock a super duper awesome Batman suit that does a great job of showing off Rock's natural muscles.
Jensley got a kiss from one of her brothers that left a frosting mark on her cheek.  Pretty cute.
Later that night we went to Mama Rae's house for Mario Kart.  Ryker has been a Mario Kart junkie lately.
Like a literal junkie who spazzes out when he doesn't get to play.
While the boys play MK Jensley sits on the floor and tries to steal their controllers while eating her munchies.
And then when she succeeds in stealing a controller she laughs "WYAHAHAHA!!".
It's hard not to let her steal your controller when she looks at you with those big pretty eyes.
Batman has been Batman almost the whole time since the party.
In other news, Jensley's mullet is getting ridiculous.  We aren't allowed to cut it because there's some rule that little girl's hair just grows and grows.
We sent rock about 30 balloons to school and DeA called me crying because all the kids on the playground had one.  She was proud of her little boy for sharing, even thought I'm sure Juliana made him share.
It's almost weird to go back and see how our little guy has grown and progressed:
First birthday
Second birthday.
Third Birthday
Fourth birthday
Happy Birthday Rocko!

Our Precious Little Sleepers

Look at her, so precious and sweet.
A little Bens in a rug.
The boys are pretty cute, too. When they sleep like this it makes you forget about all the fights a few hours earlier.
Even a little baby can tell you that Sunday naps are the best!
Even when she tries to take the whole bed she is pretty stinking adorable.
I guess they can be cute even when they are awake, like when Ryker helps feed Jens.
