Sleeping Princess and other Shenanigans

Jensley saw this picture on my phone and sweetly said "oh, princess is sweeping".
While it was really cute and sweet, I'm not 100% okay with her referring to herself as the princess.
Speaking of the princess, she really, really wanted Rock's ice cream cone.
She loves riding on Grandpa's shoulders and won't get into the car at night unless Gpa takes her.
We've had nice weather which makes it easy to enjoy redneck things, like shooting.

Life can be so difficult for Jensley.
 So very difficult.
It must be so difficult for her, watching over her kingdom and commanding her family.

They treat the helicopter like it's a jungle gym or something.
She knows just how to shimmy onto the bed and make herself comfortable on DeA's pillow.
This is the first picture of Rock as a seven year-old. He is such a smart, funny and creative kid and we love having him in our family.
He's a kid after my own heart and asked for a delicious breakfast of homemade biscuits and gravy. He ate a ton of them, to the point that DeA thought Jens was stealing some off of his plate.
We did a party at Company Creek with many, many loud kids. The party was so loud that Ryker decided he wanted a quiet party for his birthday.
DeAndra's friend Chelsea had a baby in Arkansas and DeA flew down there to help. She was supposed to leave on Wednesday but because of mechanical issues she had to stay in the hotel all alone with only room service and a House Hunters marathon to keep her company. She pretended like she was going to miss us, but we all knew the truth.
Eventually she let us leave her in Spokane and I began the trip home without her. The kids did really well, Ryker borrowed my phone and asked it how to get to Doxie's in Wilbur. He tapped the screen every three seconds to hear how far away we were from hamburgers and ice cream...and I couldn't wait to get there and silence my phone.
The kids loved the food, especially the blue bubble gum ice cream.

The gumballs in the ice cream may have been their favorite part.

Because of the delays in leaving we made it home around 7pm instead of early afternoon like we initially planned. Sleepwise we were off to a poor start to what the kids dubbed "Daddy party weekend". The kids spent the days with Papa Dale and DeA had a great trip to Arkansas.
DeAndra claims that she missed us, but I'm not believing it.
