The kids were complaining about their old, small bikes to the right person (Papa Dale) so they all ended up with new ones. DeA had to take Rock's out for a test ride.
Because of babysitting issues Jens got to come to work with me a few Fridays in a row. She really worked hard.
So very, very hard.
At least she was properly rewarded for her efforts.
Did I mention that it is getting really warm outside?
Even DeAndra said it was getting warm so you know that means it's boiling.
All that hard work and excessive heat can wear a kid completely out.
Jens has been trying to copy her mommy which includes wearing her shirts.
And her poses are exactly like DeA's when she poses for pictures.
The evenings have made for some fun baseball games with the boys.
So far this summer they've been pure energy and then crashes.
Oh, Jens got a new helmet with her bike and it is...fancy.
Monday afternoon we visited Grandma and Grandpa's graves. We arrived before the rest of the family so DeA taught the kids how to rub the stones.
We also celebrated the USA!
Papa Dale brings them apples instead of flowers. Jens wanted to eat it instead of leaving it behind.
We told her it was Grandpa's apple and she said "he'd share" before chomping down.
Ryker thought it was a good idea so he stole Grandma Helen's.
A calm, relaxing dinner at La Brisa did not follow the cemetery but instead we had two glasses of water spilled, salsa spread everywhere and refried beans ended up on Jens' shirt.
Busy days lead to a tired Mommy and Rock.
