Rock was pretty excited to see Grampy Dale after he drove all the way from Iowa just to see him! He wasn't as excited when he found out that Grandpa could only stay for a little bit, so he tried entertaining more than normal to get Grampy to stay. He even tried sabotaging Grampy into staying by ripping the cover off of his phone. But it didn't work...
Grampy left Saturday morning, and the Judds had a big pumpkin carving party planned, so Rock had to go pick himself a pumpkin.The only problem was the big, mean, playful, slobbering Buddy who always tries to attack Rock with vicious licks and kisses.Finally he picked out a pumpkin and we started carving it as a team. Wait, where's Rock and why isn't he helping? He went in search of attention from Grampa Dave
then he wanted to inspect the foundation of the house
and then he found some spilled pumpkin guts that needed mopped up. So, pretty much he just wanted a Jack-o-lantern without having to hurt the pumpkin. After the pumpkin massacre, Rock went inside and slayed some killer tracks playing what he calls "Me Band". Aunt Lindsey helped by providing some wicked percussion. Rock was on his way to bed last night when he saw an old friend. Rufus has been staying in Connor's basement so that he can guard the washer and dryer down there. He made the trip in the moving truck and Rock was pretty excited to see him. He gave him little kisses on his head. Then they went on pillaging missions all over southern Oregon.

The kid is livin' large. If he wasn't so good at everything it would be easier for him to stick with one activity. Poor kid. Gpa Dale
