Apple Blossom is kind of a big deal here in Manson. Rock knows that it is important to have the housing looking its best, so he mowed the whole lawn.
There is always a run in the morning, so the boys have been trying to train for it. They cross train by riding their bikes.
One day we rode them all the way to Singleton Park (about a mile away) with their soccer gear. Rock wanted to pack this giant backpack and even kept it on for about ten feet.
Ryker alternated between riding his bike and running. He would switch by declaring "I want you to hold my bike" and then take off running.
Eventually we got to the park and let the boys burn off any remaining energy (there wasn't much).
Ryker is turning into a regular little Messi. So much so that Whitni sat me down for a talk about how baseball and soccer are at the same time...and that chicks think baseball players are hotter. His mommy prefers soccer players herself, so he's a little confused right now.
Jensley has been able to spend lots of time with Mama Rae and her aunts.
She is one loved little girl.
Ryker really works up a little boy sweat riding his bike.
I know she's probably pooping, but it kind of looks like she is smiling.
Due to sleep deprivation we didn't run the Pig Jig, but to make up for it the boys got to be in TWO floats during the parade. I didn't get any pics of the office's float, but here they are with Papa Dale's helicopter ride.
They loved the attention and the candy.
I don't know why Ryker is crying, but I'm assuming that it is Whitni's fault.
The blossoms have been beautiful this year and it has been nice to be here from start to finish.
After the parade the whole family went down to Willow Point for a hot dog roast. Rocko skipped the food and went right to the lake.
Ryker somehow beat him to the water. Ryker loves the lake and loves any water he can find.
All the little cousins had no fear with the water.
It was cute, but there were lots of wet car seats on the way home.
Papa Dale flew the helicopter in the afternoon. After their ride the boys were all tuckered out.
They fell asleep thirty seconds after getting buckled. Rock couldn't even buckle himself because his eyes were closing too fast.
They are sure full of "it". Couldn't have done the chopper float without them.
ReplyDeleteI love you little family! Makes me miss the days when my boys were little. (kinda) I do NOT miss the sleep deprivation though. I hope DeAndra is getting some rest.
