Summer Is Here!

We know when summer is here when we have FHE at Lakeview Drive-In.

 Jens sits on the table and poaches everyone else's food.

 Ryker tried to slurp up all the milkshake while Jens licked the ketchup off of fries and chicken strips before returning them to the pile.

 Ryker loves the root beer milkshakes.

 Rock loves telling stories over the food.

 We have to be careful what Jens sees us do or we end up letting her climb to the top of a ladder.

 Summertime means plenty of four-wheeler rides, but now that Jens won't be let out the ride is getting more and more crowded.

 The boys of summer have gotten plenty of hacks in already.

 Sometimes Jens wants to play, sometimes she would rather cuddle with Mommy and eat ice cream.

 We heard rumors that the fishin' was good down at Roses, but we couldn't even get a bite.

 Part of that may have been the Cheeto that we were using as bait or the screaming and yelling happening on the dock.

 Despite not getting a nibble I think they had a good time.

 Rock didn't like having to cast so often, he just wanted a bobber and the line wrapped around his big toe.

"I caught a weed!"

 More cuts, more home runs!

 Ryker came to visit me at the office and was disappointed that he didn't remember it.

 It turns out that Jens is just like her Mama Rae.

 "No go, I stay HERE!"
