Santa made his annual flight into Manson with Papa Dale (not pictured: Papa Dale).
The kids were obviously very excited to rub shoulders with the big guy.
We walked down to Allison's where Santa was posing for pictures. This was the best one out of a few tries.
Rock was beyond distressed that Santa had not yet received his letter. We were getting down to crunch time and that letter had important information on it!
All the excitement wore them plum out.
The tree was trimmed, the stockings hung and Raf-gato loved.
We were going to take cookies to friends and family so the kids turned it into an FHE project.
They rolled out the dough and Jens assumed her usual supervisor role.
The hard part was getting the frosting just right.
There had to be lots of taste tests.
Eventually a house will be built on that lot, but until then we are loving the view out the front porch.
We took the kids shopping for presents and then capped it off with a little Red Robin. Ryker kills the mac and cheese there.
I don't remember why Jens was in her jammies, but she was.
Rock complains that we don't have a lot of pictures of him but then he does this in all the pictures.
Or this. He does this a lot in pictures, too.
Mini-gingerbread houses were fun but the kids wanted to eat them right away.
The frosting makes the roof stronger, right Ryker?
Hey look, he smiled for the picture!
