DeA and I took a Thursday morning to attend the temple in Moses Lake, then came home for Family Fun and Fit Night. We did a bench press competition. Max repped the bar for one.
Rock almost got the bar off of his chest.
There has been some angst leading up to baseball, Rock worked really hard all summer and fall to improve his game. He was nervous about how it would translate and if he would have the opportunities to show off his improved skills. He started the opening jamboree in left and had a walk and a run.
He celebrated by pulling an Uncle Nick in the parking lot.
Luca pretended that he didn't want to go to nursery, but as soon as I handed him a Scooby snack he immediately turned off the tears.
The weather got nice and Jens got to tethering balls.
The kids had to have pie for pi day, delicious razzleberry.
Rock had a doubleheader in Warden and started again in left. He had a few infield RBI singles, and ripped a screaming meemie right to the CFer who made his only catch of the day. In the second game, he missed the first few innings with a migraine, but after being way over medicating he was able to pinch hit in about the fourth and ripped a double over the RFer's head to start the winning rally.
DeA is having a hard time coming to terms with her babies growing up and wanted to hold them on her lap.
It was a little easier to hold Ryker than it was Rock
Teenagers, man.
We went up to Liberty Bell on Thursday and he again started in left but was moved up to the 2nd spot in the order. He struck out on a back door curveball that never actually backdoored, and flew out twice in a tight, fun game.
His Saturday games were rained out, and that gave us time to feed starving children. Quite a few youth from the ward were there, excited to pack some food.
After feeding the starving children, we took our less starving but still hungry children our to eat. They tried to teach DeA how to mouse her jaw or whatever stupid slang term they call it.
I can't believe it's baseball season already! Are Jens and Ryker playing anything this spring?
