Rock has enjoyed the extra attention that comes with staying at Grandpa and Grandma's house. He and Grammy had a jam session on the organ. "Now Grammy, what if we switched the bridge to E-Minor?" "And then I will add the cannon sounds during the church hymns!" "Then it will sound like this:"
"Oh, you don't want to do it my way? Fine, I can play that game, too!"
Later Rock was able to sit down and enjoy some Cheetos and make some calls on Grappy's phone.
"Oh yeah, I like Cheetos"
"Mgpph fddggmm fyujjuyu"
Meanwhile, Ryker likes the extra attention, too. And DeA liked have someone keep tabs on Rock while she tried to catch up on some sleep.
Our lil' Dynamic Duo is busy training and preparing to destroy the house using their synergy. Here Rock is guarding Ryker while he visualizes his attacks on the fridge and cupboards. Here Rock is practicing his forgery by 'helping' me with my licensing applications. Rock also knows its important to strut his stuff, so he's been watching the Rolling Stones and copying Mick Jagger. Ryker likes to visualize things, it's what he does best lately. Rock got finally found his clean and spiffy Mickey hat with the ears. He was so appreciative of the clean hat that he posed with the rack that made it possible. Ryker finally stopped visualizing his methods of attack, and started to day dream about milk and Oreos...mmm...Oreos. Then the boys got together and started watching Navy Seals and Army Rangers training videos, along with Thomas the Train...because they like trains. Their training was interrupted by a road trip to Washington!! Rock decided to put on his Fruit by the Foot tie to look his best.
Lil' Ryker tried to stay up late tonight so that he could watch Leno's first show back, but he didn't quite make it. Now, on to the boys' new shwag!! Ma and Pa Scoresby sent Rock and Ryker some cool clothes, burping clothes and a cool little car. Thank you!! He really liked the car, and tried to feed it tortilla chips. More awesome stuff came today, when Rock got a birthday package from his sweet lady, Macey! I don't know if you can tell from his face, but he's pretty happy.
"Pootball!!"
Rock really liked the candies that were meant for Mommy and Daddy. I don't know how he knows that he'll like what's inside, but he does. He even tried to share with Ryker, but Ryker couldn't help him open the packages. Rock is still pretty happy with Ryker, and every time he starts crying Rock tries to help him by touching his cheek. It doesn't make Ryker stop crying, but Rock likes to try. Rock has seen me adjust his Mommy a few times, and now that I'm officially graduated he thinks that he's the one that can adjust whoever he wants. No, really, Rock was pretending to adjust lil' Ryker until DeA came running scared. For punishment he was exiled to the laundry basket all afternoon.
"Go and tell my plight! Let the world know my story!!"
Rock is liking this new sidekick all the time, especially when looking for someone to pass blame for the stinky smell. Ryker was sleeping all snug on the couch when Rock decided to give him loves. He picked Ryker all the way up and held him tight, kind of. Ryker started to slide away from him, but Rock held on for dear life. Then Rock realized the Ryker couldn't move his arms, so he started to un-swaddle him. After all that excitement, Ryker just kept on sleeping peacefully. My luggage arrived late last night, so Rock didn't get to see his new moose slippers from Grappy until today. He kept trying to give them bites of lunch. Ryker finally got to put on some new clothes that weren't hand-me-downs (thanks Clements!) instead of Rock's old clothes. He was stoked. Rock wasn't as stoked about the new clothes. Ryker is funny, because he tries to eat anything, especially his blankets. Rock was starting to look especially hippy-ish, and so Mawma Zista and Mommy tied him down to trim him up. He was not happy. Meanwhile, Ryker just continued in ignorance while Rock was being tortured. He didn't like it. He really didn't like it.
But he didn't mind showing off the finished product. He really liked checking it out in the mirror. He wanted to show Mawma Zista that he wasn't mad, so he helped her with her stretches. Rock saw that Ryker was doing tummy time, so he helped with that, too. Rock was minding his business inside when he saw the tractor go by outside, and he had to be there. Luckily Bampa Dave doesn't mind letting him drive.
