We love our annual trip to Stehekin. The kids repeatedly talked about how excited they were for weeks before we left.
We are never as excited about the hot, dusty bus ride to the ranch. We feel like peasant tourists instead of the basically-locals that we are.We get there mid-afternoon, so we sit around and rest and wait for dinner.
Dinner is the best.
Apparently Nama and Hampa had already had enough family togetherness and found their own table.
Sitting around is one of the best parts of Stehekin.
And naps. Naps are awesome.
We usually end our days up in the game room
