Christmas and Winter

Rock (9) played basketball but realized genetics might prevent him from ever being an NBA player

We were cutting the boys' hair and Max decided he wanted a turn, too.
I don't even think his mom noticed.
 Joe Cool
Christmas excitement and winter sports really wore the kids out
We spent a lot of nights at the high school watching the basketball teams. That meant a lot of concession stand dinners.
This winter was really long and cold, which meant Rock had to bundle up.
We enjoyed scaring up quail and taking shots in their area.

We even got to take shots at geese. It was a lot of fun.

Christmas morning finally arrived and the kids woke up excited to go (Jens maybe not so much).

  Jens had a great morning.
Since Christmas was on a Sunday we got to go to church after opening presents. New dress and Seahawks sweaters.
After church we joined the party at Gpa and Gma's with Javy, Rissa, Nick and Emily.
Jens was given a new Elsa chair.
 She really likes that chair.
Nick's party was great, with a pinata filled with various meats and cheeses.
We went sledding the day after Christmas and the kids had a ball.

DeA even found some time to squeeze off a few rounds.

The kids went down the dirt pile so many times that they ran out of snow.

Day After Thanksgiving (Finally...Geez, Aaron, it's already April. Catch up already)

Jens knows the power of a good frowning face.
She is trying really hard to be convincing, but she looks like she's starting to smile.

Practicing for the Turkey Bowl
There's a smile!
Javy joined the fire department as a volunteer. Rock just had to test the gear.
Just another normal night at home with DeA
Jensley was a big help with the Christmas decorations.
We had a little campfire up at the knoll and did some shooting.
Ryker manned the pigeon tosser and did a great job.
Winnie guarded the range.
I don't know what Jens is doing with her booty. I couldn't even guess.
Santa made his grand entrance in Papa Dale's helicopter (not pictured: Santa, Papa Dale, helicopter). The kids made a beeline to Alison's to wait in line to sit on Santa's lap.
Rock had a serious discussion with Santa about broken promises in years past and wanted answers.
He presented Santa with a list of demands Christmas list.
Ryker was just happy to rub shoulders with the big guy.
He was excited to ask for a XBox One S
Jens prepared a beautiful drawing of all the toys that she was requesting.
The Santa stuff was cool but the snow later that day was even better!
We were able to re-live the trip a week later when Jens and Papa Dale were on the front page of the prestigious local weekly.
Ryker was pretty excited about his Christmas tree decorating skills.

Wrapping Up Fall

Nick and I had fun hunting out by Colville. We didn't see any elk but we did see a few Moose.
The weather was great and the scenery was awesome.
Ryker is the cutest little sleeper.
Jens was hanging out at the office with me while DeA was off getting her hair did or something. At lunch she came with me to the gym.
She got bored watching shows and wanted to join in the fun.
She was a great little workout partner.
 MAXIMILIANO!!
Ryker is quite the goober goose.
 Jens is too.
I have completely given up on trying to get the kids to sleep in their beds and I blame the Judd genes.

Have I ever mentioned that Ryker has the best sad face, ever?

 MAXIMILIANO!!
 Jens...Jens....Jens...
Rock was pretty proud of his football season.
He drew this ninja turtle on my office door, it was so good I had to take a picture for posterity.
