Wyker's Expressions and Birthday Dinner!

This is pretty much DeA's favorite view of Ryker.  He's so angelic, peaceful and not clingy.

Rock's sense of fashion is still spot-on.  He's got his tractor rain boots, his jorts, backwards pajama top and a Cars Hat...all ready for action!

While Wyker is becoming much more expressive, he still can't talk and so we really have no idea what he's expressing.  Here I think he's asking for an ice cold can of Shasta Cream Soda.  Not 100% on that, but feeling confident with the guess.

Here I think he's asking for the betting lines on the Canucks-Kings and the Rangers-Flames games.  (BTW, they were Canucks -1.5 and Flames +1)

Here he is letting us know that Jimmer is awesome.

This expression is trying to tell Daddy that he knows that Mommy knows that he has a poopy diaper.

This face is asking "How can Rock be up half the night and still have all this energy at 6 am?"

When our friends the Johnsons gave us Rock's new bed they also threw in a giant stuffed doggy.  Lately Rock keeps wanting to cuddle up to Rover and pee all over him in the middle of the night.  We sneak a diaper or pull-up on him after he falls asleep, but he's started taking them off and then wetting the bed.  I'm not making that up.

Come on, if you had abs like his you'd be staring in the mirror all day, too.

We took Rock to a car themed diner and let him have his birthday dinner.  He was pretty excited.

Ryker was especially excited when they brought out Rock's birthday sundae, and started licking his lips.

 

In a little bit of catch up news, DeA recently got wrangled by the Oreck saleslady at Costco.  Part of their demonstration was to pick up a 16 lb bowling ball with the little hand unit.  Rock was fairly skeptical, and so he spent the next 20 minutes checking it out for himself.
