Jensley, Helichopper and Apples

Does anything say conference weekend like those three words?  Jensley doesn't think so.
She is pretty in anything, but especially lovely in this knit cap.
This may have been homemade or it may have been store bought.  Either way she liked it and DeA can't remember.
Yeah, we think she's pretty.
Dad volunteered a helicopter ride for the Judds while they were here.  Something must be wrong with the girls, because DeA and Lisa both said "I've already done it" while the boys, Dave and I all said "Heli Yeah!" Rock practically ran to Papa Romeo.
The boys always fight over who gets to wear the fighter helmet.  Today was Rock's turn to call out the bogeys.
Ryker understood, but that doesn't mean that he is happy about it.
As we were getting ready to hangar the helicopter Rock found another vehicle to play in.
When you are four the world is your jungle gym.
After the second session of conference (and the Seahawks game) we went to Papa Dale's to pick apples.  The boys are getting this down to a science and knew that they needed a four-wheeler.
While the boys were working on the four-wheeler the adults were busy working.
The boys sure thought that they were working hard and didn't want to hear complaints about their four-wheeler involved horse play.
The boys finally found a job they liked: putting Dora stickers on all the apples.
The apples are giant, which makes it easier to fill the boxes.
Stickers.  Stickers everywhere.
"Hey Rock, I think I need a sticker on my forearm."
"Mmm...Washington apples.  So good..."
So pretty...
Mama Lisa wanted a family picture in front of the apples.  It kind of worked.
Or maybe not.
This was pretty much the best one that the boys let us take.
After that busy day we went to Len and Lesa's for dinner.  Jens pretty much just ran out of gas and crashed on Mama Rae's shoulder.
The night was capped off by a visit from the fireghostman.  He visits every Columbus Day Eve to bless the lives of little boys and girls.

  1. Do you normally like to let your kid go out with his pants on backwards? Cute pics!
