For Christmas Mom and Dad gave us the gift of babysitting so that DeA and I could have a trip together. We left the Saturday of Easter weekend which still gave us time to do Easter Baskets. The boys especially loved Jensley's pink princess basket.
Jensley likes new things, especially when she can tell that her brothers don't want her to have them.
Ryker really loves the milk straws and even drinks them with water.
Rock did a god job as a big brother to show Jens all of her candy and sippy cups.
Rock likes the milk straws, too, but not enough to drink them without milk!
Things were pretty good on basket morning.
"YEEEEEEE!!!"
The boys also received watercolor paints and quickly learned to paint the table.
After baskets we started loading the car. Part of our trip was taking DeA to play with her new golf clubs, so they were sitting out in the open. The boys found her set and mine and turned the front yard into an executive course with a very liberal dress code.
Rock did say that his muscles are considered formal wear in thirteen countries.
We dropped the kids off at Mom and Dads and headed to the coast. We stayed the first night in Burlington and then checked in to the condo on Sunday. We had perfect weather and spent lots of time walking around the beach. We even did the tourist thing and tried to get pictures of us in front of the water...
And we tried the timer on a picnic table...
But finally we settled for a blurry sunset picture.
The next morning we took DeA golfing and she was a natural! She loved it so much that the next morning I woke up to her studying youtube videos and asking if we could go again.
Just glad the kids didn't watch the pro's take off their pants to play the water hazards...wouldn't have been pretty I'm sure
