Apple Blossom is one of the best times of the year. It was especially beautiful this year.
Jens was in the Junior Court, that meant I had to attend the pageant. She was embarrassed, but did great.
The girls of the Junior Court
Rock's class did a big dance number. He was happy to show off his slick dance moves.
After the pageant, we helped grandpa retire the flag at Sauls memorial and raise a new flag.
It was...not smooth. Respectful, but definitely not smooth.
Saturday was a special day, it was the day we get ready for pancakes. We got up early and enjoyed the normal food, with the exception of the ham. They changed the ham and the kids were not okay with that.
The weird ham didn't stop Rock from killing half a dozen innocent pancakes.
DeA and Emily arrived at the pancake breakfast after their grueling Pig Jig walk/run.
I don't know what his deal was, and frankly, I didn't care.
A few years ago, Uncle Nick took this picture of the boys.
They're not quite as cute anymore.
It was fun to have Uncle Nick and Aunt Emily there, and Grandma to fix Jens' disco hair.
Our fancy float still hasn't won an award. That feels like an oversight.
Ryker thought we should have won something.
