Spring here is just about the best. It's bright, it's sunny, and it's full of unicorns.
Rock picked up his first job, mowing the neighbor's lawn for way more than I made when I mowed lawns when I was his age. Inflation is a jerk.
Apricot blossoms are popping like popcorn.
The knoll had some dried brush that needed cleaned out, so we burned them to roast hot dogs and marshmallows.
Leo was sure to keep a keen eye on everything, he didn't want a dropped dog to go to waste.
It wasn't as cold as it looks in this picture, it was a pretty nice evening.
DeA came straight from a nap, but was glad she didn't miss out on the party.
The kids love roaming free up there.
DeA loves that they roam around and get out from under her feet.
Baseball season has begun, which means we are all baseball all the time. It's great.
You know things are busy when Rock runs out of gas.
Ryker asked for hard ground balls, but one took a bad hop and hit his face. He rubbed some dirt on it and went back out for more grounders.
Spring is super busy with lots of stuff, so it makes sense for the school to cram concerts into the schedule. Ryker won't tuck in his shirt or wear a tie at church, but he will for his concert.
Jens did great in her part of the show.
She was so excited to have it over.
Ryker was pretty nervous, but did a great job.
They were pretty happy to not have another concert this school year!
