Late Spring to Early Summer

It has been a little windy lately, but one calm night we took advantage and built a s'mores fire.

Jens noticed the pretty flowers and picked some for her pretty mom.
It wasn't cold, but Rock still wanted to hood up.
DeA was very flattered to received her flowers.
Homeschooling has been hard. Drink chocolate-milk-through-a-straw-out-of-a-tiny-glass kind of hard.
Easter means we dye eggs in Grandma's driveway. we thought the kids were getting too old for this, but they really wanted to keep the tradition going.

The house is almost to the point we can move in. Thanks to our governor's arbitrary and ridiculous ban on residential construction we are at a little bit of a standstill. We are still allowed in the house, so Jens helped me finish her mantle.
We got some fancy BYU masks to wear in public.
The appliances are in, the counters are in, now we are just waiting on them to finish the backsplash, bathroom accent tile, and other odds and ends.
Some of the backsplash is in.
We've been spending lots of time at Mom and Dad's. Our house is being packed up for the move and it is easier to cook there. Here is Jens making scrandled eggs.
The construction ban was lifted for ten days, which gave them time to get some stuff done. Here's our new fluffy carpet!

They poured the front porch and side slab! Now we can use the new front door!

From the front porch Rock can see deer on the hillside. That will come in handy in the fall.
This is a good place to sit.
The bedroom carpet is fluffy, too.
