DeA and the kids love to take naps during Christmas break. That's great for them, but it sucks for me who still has to go to bed and get up early. They were all rested from their marathon naps and didn't want to calm down at bedtime.
"If you're cold, they are cold" is a freaking lie.
We spent a day up at Echo shredding the snow.
DeA is quite the snow bunny.
A very pretty snow bunny.
Ryker tried snowboarding for the first time. It went about how you would expect.
It was a nice, quiet morning and sunset. Quiet because everyone else in the house went to bed a 2am and were all still sleeping. They did wake up long enough to complain about the noise I made while trying to get out the door to work.
New Year's Eve was the only night that they decided to fall asleep before midnight, except for Jens. She couldn't wait to see the Space Needle fireworks.
We were chilling one of the nights when the fireplace glass shattered. It was pretty exciting.
The rest of Christmas break was filled with rolled ice cream...
Noisy board games...
More rolled ice cream...
and family bonding around a game of Monopoly in which DeA threatened to punch me in the face.
