Lindsea took our family pictures while she was here. The kids kind of cooperated.
The were not asked to hold hands nor to raise them up.
They went quite a bit farther than Linds asked.
Uh, have you ever tried to explain to a toddler that they aren't supposed to be in the picture?
You can tell how well she listened.

Ryker is trying to expand his breakfast food skills. He learned how to make french toast.
That's a lot of powdered sugar.
Rock was more judicious in his powdered sugar disbursements.
 Jensley the nut.

Full-Blown Summer

You know it is summer when we get our first fire. This was a transformer that exploded (just a boring transformer, not a cool one like Bumblebee) and threatened Flores' house. DeA and I went out to help.

The next day was Father's Day, look at that delicious breakfast spread!
The Volle's are still hanging out with us. It's been fun to get to know the little ones that don't remember us very well.
Marissa taught the kids handball with the hope that she would dominate them.
The girls made sure to take good care of Hampa and to give him lots of back rubs.
Rock was a good cousin and gave lots of four-wheeler rides.
Bubbles felt bad when Aunt Rissa would peg Jens in the back. She started standing next to her in solidarity.
Rock wore himself right out trying to keep up with Max.
Leo's not allowed on the couch, and yet....
DeA might be a little out of practice changing diapers. Leo escaped a lot.
DeA dominated the Saul Run and got a medal to prove it!
 Jens was impressed.
We took Leo down with us, hoping that he would run with DeA. He got himself quarantined in the back of the truck when he kept trying to steal the picnic food.
There were lots of cousins running around.
We did find time to go on romantic drives into the hills.
Marissa taught us how to make decorated cookies. Here is my fire truck that is sick of your crap.
Heather gave the boys haircuts. Ryker got his mohawk that he's always wanted.

Jefe and Aleasha organized a family softball game. It was a lot of fun.
Max's mom taught him how to eat a hot dot like a weirdo.
 Ryker is ever stylish.

 Leo Baby!
We still spend most evenings up at the knoll.

More Summer Shenanigans!

We finally have a hole in the ground where our house will be built! Jens likes inspecting it.
Leo is slowly learning that his job is to cuddle with DeA.
Bubbles loves going on four-wheeler rides. When I get to Mom and Dad's, she brings me her shoes to put on her and then walks me to the front door.
We spent a Saturday up in Mansfield at their car show. It was a fun day with food and games.
Jens waited patiently in line to get her face painted.
She was a unicorn with flowers, I think.
The boys participated in an egg toss and got third place!
DeA was happy to watch the egg toss. She wasn't interested in getting dirty.
We came back to town just in time for Poly's graduation party!
Che che has had it with these kids playing in his yard and his boss has been riding him hard all day. He just wants to sit and enjoy his ice cream in peace.

 A deeper hole!
All that fun was too much for Jens.
Ryker made it to Gpa's, but didn't last long after that.
Baby Leo finally got to meet the dog who he was named after.
 The Two Leos.
Rock made Baked Alaska. No reason, he just decided that making Baked Alaska was the most important thing in his life and had to make it right then. It was delicious.
