Shopping with Rock

Palmer was out for Easter today, so I didn't have to feel guilty for not going to school today. We weren't sure what to do with the free day, so DeAndra suggested that we hit Sam's Club for the free sample buffet. Let me tell you what, today was the day to cruise Sammy's. We watched a presentation by the VitaMix blender guy. In case you aren't aware, VitaMix is the blender that Grandpa Leo used for years to make his awesome milkshakes. Well, the guy today didn't make milkshakes, he made a 9 fruit smoothie. It was good, but...a little to healthy to be considered 'great'. Maybe a little vanilla ice cream would have pushed it over the top. Rock sure seemed to love it.
After Sam's we went to Dunham's Sports so that DeAndra could try on shoes. Rock and I took the opportunity to peruse the awesome sports equiptment. I tried to get pictures of Rock playing with baseball bats, but he kept clanging them together like windchimes. I thought it was cute, but the workers seemed a little overprotective of their $300 shillelaghes so we headed over to the golf stuff. Rock seemed to love the putting course. First thing he got to do is pick out his putter.
Armed with his mighty putter Rock stood strong and played goalie. He refused to let any of my putts go into the hole, and they were all going to go in!

Rock also made sure to check out the entire selection of putters. He wanted to see how they felt and what kind of noise they made when they hit the ground.

As any man will tell, after shopping the only thing you want to do is crash and sleep it off. That is exactly what happened.
