Rock woke up today really excited to spend some time in the beautiful sunshine, but was devastated by stupid rain. Rock doesn't do well when he couped up in the house and can't properly release his wiggles, and DeAndra doesn't take it well when he tries to release his wiggles inside. He spent much of the morning pushing the stroller around and ramming into things.
Later, he started...well, I'm not sure what he was doing. All I know is that it involved DeA's running shoes, a soccer jersey and dismantled drawers.
DeAndra loaded him into the stroller and tied him down until he fell asleep. That seemed to cheer her up.
The sun finally made an appearance this afternoon, and Rock wanted to walk to the mall and surprise his Mommy. He failed to warn me that the final mile of the walk was devoid of sidewalks, crosswalks and intersection signals. But, the hike was worth it when he got to ride the merri-go-round (you would have thought that he was tired of sitting after the long trek, but no)
Rock was pretty excited to get launched in an old Apollo rocket. You can't hear it, but he was making rocket sounds with his mouth.
"She better not try to merge...NO!! Stupid Suburbans...PUT DOWN THE CELL PHONE...Women drivers..."
