We love visiting the house and seeing the progress, but not as much as Leo loves rummaging through the construction worker's garbage.
Jens got a piano for Christmas, and has enjoyed having Gma show her how to play.
Uncle Nick and Aunt Emily got us a fondue kit. Melted chocolate for everyone!
DeA has been diligently working on pain colors, I'm sure she'll pick the best one.
The house is coming along, even though it looks all torn up right now.
DeA noticed a spot that needed cleaning, nothing can stop her from getting to it.
We bought Jens a snow globe for Christmas, it seems like the nice Chinese people that made it missed something.
Rock turns 12 this year, that means he was eligible to receive the Aaron Priesthood. He's a full-blown deacon now.
I was getting ready to take the kids to school when Jens decided that the windows were not clean enough. She cleared the rest of the snow and ice while I waited inside the warm car.
What service!
Jens really got into the high school basketball games. She really enjoyed cheering with her friends and getting her face painted.
It's too bad we were usually away at hockey or church activities to get to more games, but I had fun going with her.
Even Leo got into the school spirit.
Jens needed help on her homework and Ryker said he'd help. He ended up doing it all for her, which meant Jens had to ask for a new sheet to do it herself. But he was trying to be a good big brother (or trying to show off).
Geese hunting has gone so well lately, either the geese aren't flying or the orchard workers are working. I finally got a couple, but was smart enough to give all but one away. I roasted that goose in teriyaki and orange juice for 12 hours. I anxiously tried it only to realize that even Leo wouldn't eat that rubbery crap.
We've had some pretty snows this year, but it's not as pretty when you know you have an hour drive home.
Ryker has been loving Learn to Play, and constantly asks when he can get promoted to House league.
Rock has dabbled in hockey a little bit this year, he's decided that he'd rather be the one making shots instead of taking them.
Jens liked sitting behind the goal and yelling at the poor goalie.
