Apple Blossom is one of my favorite weekends of the year, even though it is busy and stressful. The royalty always comes and visits.
Sometimes they even let me wear their crown.
I was the MC of the pageant again and got to dress up for "Into the Wilderness", but it kind of looks like "dress like Hampa Dale Day".
Dad was in charge of the pancake breakfast and nailed it. Mom seemed to enjoy walking around and showing off Sofia.
The sourdough pancakes are still undefeated.
We were finishing up when the entertainment showed up.
Someone bought the boys swords, who would be foolish enough to do that?
Our candy crew isn't quite as cute and little as they used to be, but they still get the job done.
Having not learned out lessons in previous years, we drove into Chelan for lunch. Town was stupid, it was hot, the food and being with the kids was good, but they were exhausted.
Everyone was exhausted.
The crazy morning and afternoon wasn't enough, we still had the community softball game in the evening. DeA enjoyed holding Sofia but did not enjoy the annoying player that kept waving to her.
The solar super storm created some incredible northern lights.
It was absolutely incredible to see the sky perform like that.
Evening walks are back!
I hope that DeA had a great Mother's Day, she is an incredible mom and spouse and we are all so deeply blessed to have her in our lives.
