Well, our little guy is finally turning two, and you all know what that means: It's about time he gets a stinkin' job and pulls his weight around here.
It also means that we take a look back at baby Rock, the early years. Here he is in DeA's uterus, just chilling.
Here is what DeA looked like before Rock unsuccessfully tried to traverse her birth canal.
The very first picture of Rock!!
In the past two years he has learned quite a vocabulary.
To prepare for his sweet action sweet birthday party, he helped prepare his own birthday cake.
"Mmm...egg beaters."
Well, DeA figured that Boulder (or Ryker, Braden, N8 or Stryker Ramon) needs some belly picks before he enters the world. She looks very pretty and very, very pregnant.
As usual, once Rock realizes that other people are getting attention he sets out to steal that attention back. In this case that meant he had to pose for his own belly pics.
He even knows that turning sideways brings more attention! This poor kid has no idea what is about to happen to his perfect little world.
Our ward has church at 1 pm, which means that we have a lot of time in the morning, and DeA likes to watch BYU-TV to help set the mood for church. Rock thinks he found a perfect loophole in the system.
"See? I'm watching BYU-TV, so it's Mommy tested and Rock approved!!"
The other thing with church being so late is that Rock has to take his nap before we go to meetings. The little guy just won't calm down on his own, so we wrap him up like a burrito so that he can't go anywhere.
Happy Birthday to a great kid. His parents have endured some pretty heavy pressure to keep his blog going on a regular basis. We are grateful for the whole klan.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it continues twice the fun and twice the pictures in two weeks. Yeah!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday ROCK!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Rock! I hope you have a fun birthday party, wish we could be there!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Rock! It's hard to picture him as the little baby anymore.
ReplyDeleteI have watched the videos so many times that Travis has them memorized. Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI do love the video of him driving the beater. When DeA lets go his look of panic is priceless.
