It seems like my time has been split between Jens' softball, listening to the kids complain about school not being over, and fielding complaints from parents about how their daughters don't get to pitch as much as they think they should. Jens is continuing to improve with her pitching. She has always been fairly accurate, but she has done a good job increasing her velocity.
Focus face!
She spent a few days at Holden Village. She was a little worn out when I picked her up on Friday.
Leo got groomed and then rolled around in the dirt immediately.
We had a youth temple trip on Saturday morning. There was a lot going on, but we still had a great crew that woke up early and enjoyed the trip.
Not a lot happened the rest of the day.
Schnookums is studying hard and finished her first pathways block!
If it feels like I'm posting a lot of softball lately, it's because we go to Wenatchee twice a week and then parents want a practice also and so I am doing a lot of softball lately.
You can't see it, but I guarantee that she's focus-facing.
Pitching three innings for the first time can wear a little girl out.
This is her pre-game ritual on the way to Wenatchee.
She took a ball to the face and didn't even cry.
DeA and I ran down to the temple after work on Friday. It felt like the old days when we didn't feel like we were falling asleep at 11pm.
We got home after midnight, but it was a perfect date night.
Saturday we got some Sofia time.
