More Spring

The weather was beautiful on Monday and we had to have another campfire.
It was very relaxing, other than the begging dogs. They don't even like marshmallows.
Jensley's softball season is going and she has played well.
We love supporting her, even in the wind.
I volunteered to teach seminary for a few mornings. I don't think that the kids liked me as much as they like Janel.
We had a very spiritual YM activity
They were as effective killing rock chucks as Leo Puppy is.
Magnum PR ran at leagues and did well.
At times he did seem more pre-occupied with impressing certain 8th graders than he was with running.
Leo Puppy can tell when a deer is 100 yards away in the orchard but can't tell when they are 30 feet away on Nama's lawn.

Mother's Day

Schnoogies is special and wonderful and sweet and a wonderful mother to the children. They surprised her with a bouquet of flowers.
She wanted to go up to Antilon Sunday after church. We spent about 20 minutes reading scriptures and being in nature.
Leo Puppy tried his best to meditate.

Right as the kids settled in, a little storm blew in and started to rain on their scriptures. We decided it was a good time to transition to roasting hot dogs and s'mores.

It was wonderful.
I picked her a bouquet of wildflowers, but she said that the kids' flowers were better.

Apple Blossom Week

DeA and I took a day to visit the temple. It was wonderful, as it always is, and we had a nice sunny post-visit selfie.
Does she look annoyed that I'm kissing her forehead?
Rock went flying and I was able to spot him in the sky. DeA wondered why he was so high up there.
The baby veggies are coming along nicely.
I was the MC of the pageant again (not pictured) and had more fun than DeA or Megan did. Saturday was fun with Luca wanting all the candy and kettle corn.
A guy walked down the street with a yellow boa. Javi touched it!
He would let kids wear it around their necks.
Sofia was pretty happy, as long as she got as much kettle corn as she wanted.
Ryker looked to happy to be marching.
I enjoyed looking at DeA's face even though she didn't know it.
She's a cutie.
Ryker and Rock went golfing in the afternoon. They know that they should dress up for the occasion.
I was in charge of the alumni softball game. It ended up being a mostly England/Lyman game with some random kids.
DeA and Janel thought it was hilarious.
We got Jens a net so that the guys could take full swings and try to hit jacks.
Postgame selfie!

Horchata is a silly cat that I think loves to tease and taunt Leo Puppy
He was very agitated and wanted to run out and play with her.
DeA made some whipped cream for strawberry shortcakes and tried to share the beaters with Rock. I guess that he was not feeling it.
We had a windy DH in Omak. It was fun, we split the two games and I got yelled at by the PA announcer, the Janels tried to fight the PA announcer and the ump, and at one point the opposing team's pitcher turned to his parents and asked if he could come hang out at Rock's house. It was quite the fiasco.
DeA earned her Sunday nap.
Sofia learned about Jell-o and was a big fan.

DeA made the mistake of picking up a farm kid while wearing a white shirt.

Rock played the last baseball game of the season in Tonasket. It was a loser-out playoff game. He went 1-2 with a single and a walk and made a few plays at 2B. It was a good season for him and even with the loss it felt like they ended on an upward trajectory.
"Is the season over yet?"
Yeah, I don't think Horcha is that scared of Leo anymore.
Magnum PR ran well, and shaved about six seconds off his 1600 time.
Miss GreenThumb is cultivating some vegetables and we have sprouts!
