Christmas!!!!!!!!

"Today is a good day, for it is Christmas morning and I will slaughter these presents and bathe in pure, unfiltered bliss.  Opening presents is like playing air hockey with Wayne Gretzky.  Today I am whole."
Rock was pretty super stoked for Christmas morning.  He got right to work when he woke up.
Ryker wasn't quite sure what was going on, but he knew he liked it.

Rock continually did he dance of joy after conquering yet another awesome present.
Ryker looked super happy all morning.

Mama Zista and Papa Dave got the boys a red wagon, and they both thought that it was SWEET!

The wagon was so cool that it knocked the snot out of Ryker.
Ryker wasn't too good at opening the presents, but he was pretty skilled at playing with them.
Meanwhile, Rock was so excited to open presents that he 'pre-opened' some presents for Grandpa Dave and Aunt Lindsey.
He loved his presents.
Ryker got a cool bike/pusherthingie that he was in love with.
"AWESOME!!"

"Merry Christmas!!"

Merry Christmas!!!

Countdown to an Oregon Christmas!

DeA, the boys and the Judds made some awesome graham cracker houses the other night (maybe for home evening, but I'm not sure because I wasn't there).
Rock got to make his own house, and he took it very seriously.
"Mmm...I can't wait to load this thing with candy and then lick it all off!"
Ryker didn't get to make his own house, but that's because he ate his delicious graham crackers.
Mama Zista's house was also pretty awesome (not pictured: Mama Zista's house).
DeA's house didn't have a lot of candy on it, but that's because she skipped the step of putting it on her house before eating it.
All trip long Rock has asked Mama Zista when they are going to make cookies for Santa.  Well, today was finally the day!  He was excited to add his own personal 'flavor' to the cookies.
He got to cut out lots and lots of little cookie men and reindeer.

Meanwhile, Ryker is in love with having so much room to roam.  So many corners, closets and cupboards to mess up!

Texts From Medford

The boys and DeA are still having a ball down in Oregon.  Rock is helping Mama Zista bake Santa some cookies.
This is Ryker's first real taste of having the Judd's attention, and he's loving it.  He loves his aunt Lindsey.
Ryker also loves his body, and he loves showing it off.
Rock spends as much time on his bike as he can.  That means that he runs in to the kitchen and eats a few bits, then goes right back out to his bike.
That means that Rock wears his helmet all the time, just in case a bike ride breaks out.
Ryker also loves looking sharp for the ladies.  It drives the honeys crazy.
Papa Dave took the boys on a picnic in the living room.

I asked DeA for a picture of her, and this is what she sent.  She might not be happy that I posted it on the blog, but I was happy to get it!

Oregon Updates!!

Here are the latest pictures that DeA has texted me from their trip to Oregon.  Apparently Ryker is getting to the point where he can fight back against Rock's wrestling moves.
Ryker is also getting to the point where he can help an elderly moose get comfortable in its rocking chair.
Rock loves attention, and he especially loves it from Papa Dave.

Ryker is growing up so fast, now he can make a bronx cheer when somebody tries to feed him vegetables.
Everybody braved the crazy Christmas shoppers and went to Costco.  Rock liked having Ryker within touching distance, but Ryker wasn't so cool about it.  He knows that Rock loves to give wet willies, and he doesn't like them.

Updates from Medford

DeA and the boys have been loving Oregon so far.  Rock gets to watch the Polar Express on a huge HD TV instead of his little 5 inch DVD player.  He was mesmerized.
He is also loving his new bike.
Ryker is having a blast, too.  He really loves having the extra space to explore and get his crawls out.  He is stating that phase where he wants the phone, even when Mommy is trying to take a picture of him.
I guess the boys have been crashing pretty hard, which makes sense because they are playing full-steam ahead.
Rock loves himself some "Cheeros" in a straw bowl.  I haven't heard if he remembers how to blow milk bubbles, so I'll have to ask DeA on that one.
I know the burning question in your minds is how am I doing here in Renton.  Well, I just beat Georgia Tech in the Sugar Bowl and I took a quiz that told me that I would survive one minute and 13 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor.
