A Very EmiNick Wedding

Emily and Nick wanted to get hitched in St George on July 10, 2017. We loaded up and flew out of Spokane for the festivities.

No trip to Spokane would be complete without a stop at Doxie's Cafe.
Burgers and shakes and fries and floats!
The kids were pretty worn out.

Once we got to Spokane the kids played in the pool until they kicked them out.
Our flight left at 10, that made it nice since we didn't have to wake up really early.
The best part of arriving in St George was reuniting with MAXIMILIANO!
MadBum and D-rel were there, too!
Nick was pretty cool, calm, and collected. If it weren't for him ironing his suit, his shirt, his tie, his underwear, his socks, and his marriage license you would never know that he was nervous.
The ceremony was great, the temple was beautiful and the DeAndra was stunning.
The kids were great little troopers.
The cousins started to congregate on the bench.
They kept gathering and wanting to join the picture.
 Even more cousins!
 Alright, enough pictures.
Rock is always so reverent at the temple.
 Mr. and Mrs. Harry!

The luncheon was a lot of fun and Rock got to hold his cousin, Bubbles.

MAXIMILIANO!! discovered the candy buffet and went bonkers.
Dad flew in on Sunday and then had to leave right after the luncheon.
We celebrated the nuptials with delicious concretes from Culver's

 "Don't take my picture"
  "MMM...delicious"
 Ice cream!
We flew out at a decent time on Tuesday, so the kids were chip and chipper.
I don't know what it going with either of them.
The trip definitely wore them the heck out.

Saul Run and 4th of July Summer Fun

Once again the run was a blast. The boys decided to ride their bikes instead of running. They looked especially tough on their bikes.

They rode the entire course, even the hills, all on their own.

They recovered from their effort by unwinding in the playroom.
The summer has been beautiful, even Jens agrees.

We have spent a lot of time up at the knoll, and the kids made friends with the new neighbor's dog.
This is Riley, a real yellow lab and not a fake one like Winnie.
Summer has meant campfires with the pyros.

Summer also means Apple Sox games and nachos.
Emphasis on the nachos.
Cheeseburgers!!
The Coyote!
The Kiwanis chicken dinner was a hit with the kids. Ryker sucks the chicken bones dry.
Bottomless lemonade!

Jens had some of her many cavities filled. She was a great little patient.

Here she is with a new-found resolve to be a better brusher and flosser.
All that dental work wore her right out.
To ensure a perfect parking spot, we arrive fairly early for the fireworks. Once we arrived Jens decided that she wanted to change her clothes. Rock and Mommy helped make a temporary changing station.
The boys filled the time with a game of catch.
It was another perfect 4th of July night.
Ryker was crazy excited.
The next day we took the kids out on the boat and let them enjoy the water. They loved their time on the lake.
It was fun pulling them on the tube and hearing them whine that I was simultaneously going too fast and too slow.
They especially wanted to go fishing from the boat. Their Cheetos baited spinners surprisingly didn't do very well.

More tubing!

Jens was too afraid to ride the tube, but she loved watching the boys.
