Belly Pictures (WARNING!!! Contains excessive belly pictures)

Merry Christmas and a Happy Festivus from all of the management and staff here at the England Family Blog-site. For your post Christmas and Boxing Day enjoyment, we have included the latest side shots of certain bellies. And after watching three hours of Mystery Diagnosis over the break so far, I need to clarify that we have proof that DeAndra is pregnant. She is not experiencing any sort of freakin' medical condition named after an Indian medical student. And just for the record, while watching Myster Diagnosis I went 2 for 3, missing only the chronic autoimmune disease that was named for the doctor on the show. I know what you are thinking, why would I even count that one, it isn't fair; it's named after him. But I'm honest and I know that I was wrong. But I nailed Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Complex Deficiency and Arsenic heavy metal poisoning.

Anyways, back to the baby. He is doing well, and as you can hopefully see, is growing like a weed. DeAndra is still looking good, and her belly is rock hard (now she only wishes that her hubby's tummy were rock hard abs that you could grate cheese on...). 40 Days till Rock is born!!

Cougs Win!!

As you can see, Rock was more than thrilled to watch the Cougar's beat UCLA this weekend. DeAndra was more than proud to announce that when BYU won, Rock did a couple of big kicks and jumps. He was pretty excited. DeAndra thinks it has something to do with Ben, Aaron and I jumping and yelling, but I think she is being rediculous.

He has been moving a lot lately, and that started just about the time that all the presents came in the mail from all the Grandparents. He makes DeAndra shake and prod all of his (and her) presents to try to figure out what the booty is. But I'm not allowed anywhere close to the presents, because someone thinks that I'll try to make tape lose its stickiness. We are excited to have our first little Christmas by ourselves, even though we will miss family. I'm trying to find a way to wire DeAndra's mom with a webcam on her head so DeAndra can stay updated with her family.

This morning I woke up early to a wimpering sound coming from the bathroom. I stubbled into the bathroom to find DeAndra (eight months pregnant DeAndra) perched on the bathroom sink. Before I could process what was happening, she screamed that there was a mouse in the bathroom. I lifted her carefully off the sink and carried her into the other room. When I got back I checked to see where the mouse was supposed to be. This tiny, scared little mouse was huddled in the corner. I tried to use a towel to catch him, but for some reason my reflexes weren't as sharp after four hours of sleep as you would think. He scurried into his little hole, and DeAndra spent the rest of the morning pulling everything out of every drawer and running it through the dishwasher. Apparently our furry friend loves to eat rubber spatulas.

ROCK'S Crib

Rock's crib from Grammy and Grampy England came in the mail today. DeA was apprehensive about letting me put it together, but you all judge for yourselves! Pretty cool crib, huh? It converts all the way to a bed for toddler Rock. Thanks Ma and Pa England!!

Snowy Sunday

These pictures are from Aaron's Mom. One is from the baby shower in Oregon (in case you haven't heard or noticed from reading this blog, DeA is pregnant!! Big news) with her BFF Chelsea, who is also expecting a baby. The other picture is at the Field of Dreams, where I got to hit some balls where Shoeless Joe did the same. I wasn't going to say this, but DeA is making me point out that I hit one into the corn. Not bragging, but it did go pretty far (Again, DeA is making me put that in) and everyone was pretty amazed.

This picture is of DeAndra in her 32 week. DeAndra is excited for the baby to be born, mostly because she thinks that she has to stay home with Rock for the first month or year and skip church. When we got in the car after church today, she was a little huffy. I asked what was wrong, and she pointed out that a sister who had her baby on Monday broght the baby today! She has felt guilty all afternoon, trying to rationalize how she will skip a month of church if someone is bringing their six day-old. I told her I could stay home with Rock too, but that idea was shot down pretty quickly. Rock has a check up tomorrow, he seems pretty excited. Last night he wanted lots of sugar, and today he wanted a little ice cream.

Aaron didn't want this picture in the blog but I couldn't pass it up. After the shower he decided to go through all of Bradley's stuff and try it on. His Dad gave us Aaron's old teddy bear Titus. That was one of my favorite gifts. Aaron is going to be such a great daddy!!

More Rock Info

The big news about Rock today is that he has been working on DeAndra's ribs pretty hard. I understand what he's thinking, because you have to work the body, but usually you want to pound the kidneys. I'll give him a pass, since he's still a baby, but I expect him to start fighting smarter, not harder. He kicks and moves a ton, until I put my hand on the belly to feel, and then he sits there perfectly still.

Rock is moving

Baby Rock is growing so fast, it's hard to believe. I don't know for sure that he is growing, but I am guessing he is because DeA's tummy is getting bigger and harder. And he is developing an attitude because he thinks if someone's hand or arm shouldn't be there, then he will kick the bejeeberz out of it. I know that this is old news for anyone that has ever had a baby, been around a pregnant woman, or ever talked to anyone that knows anything about pregnancy; but to me it's pretty amazing.

This last week we set up our awesome Christmas tree, it is pretty. I put the ornaments on the tree, and then DeA put them where they look pretty. It's nice and smells like Christmas in here, like pine and cinammon. And outside it looks like a winter wonderland. The ice storm from the last couple of days has left a coating of ice on everything. It makes all the trees and plants look like crystal glass. It is pretty amazing, and the best part is: I got to miss school on Tuesday because of the ice! I've never been a bigger fan of crappy weather!
