Boys Trip!

Ryker got straight A's one semester, so he was rewarded with a boys trip. No good boys trip would be complete without homemade root beer and big burgers.

We rode the light rail from Tukwila to Seattle Center for the first time ever. It was great, except for the stinky guy that kept mumbling to himself. A lot easier than trying to drive and park in Seattle, and I didn't have to worry about my window getting bashed in.

The station is below the Space Needle, we had fun walking around Seattle Center and seeing the sites and crazy peoples, including a bum fight.
Their youth hockey association had a fundraiser with discounted Kraken tickets. The seats weren't great, the Kraken were worse, but the arena and atmosphere were great.
They wore themselves straight out.
The drive back was a little wintery, especially for April, but we made it safe and sound.

Spring!!

Spring seems to have finally arrived and that means baseball! MAXAMILIANO was ready to play with his cousins.
Rock played his first games while I was off at Grandpa Myron's funeral. He did pinch running and caught the last inning in his first game.
The doubleheader against Oroville didn't go very well, and DeA had a hard time watching it because she felt helpless and didn't know what to say. Rock just wasn't himself and it turns out he was legit sick with pneumonia.
Rock ended up missing a week of school, but started to feel better and we went down to play baseball and get his confidence back. Meanwhile, Manson had a kite festival.
Hampa brought up a side-by-side from one of the orchards for the day.

Both Leos loved the rides.
Leo loves sweeping dirt, just like a real latino.
The nicer weather has brought back our evening walks.
Violet and Poppy love looking down at us from their perch.
Rissa helped Jens re-learn how to ride a bike. Go Jens!
Spring means evening fires.
Luca is a happy little guy.
General conference donuts were great except someone forgot the shortening and had the density of bagels.

The kids brought up beanbags for conference.
They really paid close attention.
