SNOW!!! FOR THE LOVE OF SNOW IT FINALLY CAME!!

The weatherman didn't even call for snow, but it came!  A whole 4-6" of the white stuff is all over the place now!
Rock was stoked to start lobbing snowballs at the ladies in his class to coyly show his affection.
Jens made sure she was decked out to the fullest to enjoy it.  She even ate the carrot that was meant for the snowman.
Ryker helped me make the snowman and was required to sing "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" the whole time.

Jens wore herself out trying to march through the deep stuff so she rested on the stairs.  We lobbed snowballs at her and she would giggle and say "ooohhh".

She finally had enough of the cold and wet.
Ryker couldn't get enough.  We played right up until DeA called him inside for lunch (at about 3 or so).
He didn't want to go in so he deftly hid himself in the snow.
Jens didn't want to go back inside, either.  She also hid like a master hider.

After all that fun she crashed harder than DeA after drinking Dr. Pepper.
She woke up with so much energy that she had to burn it off by doing pull ups in her princess jammies.

The Kids Can Be Adorable (When They Want To)

The boys demand McDonald's every time we are in Wenatchee.  They don't like the food (thankfully), but they love the indoor playground.  Oh, and Ryker does love the ice cream.
We pulled out the ol' SNES and introduced the kids to Super Mario.  Ryker helped me beat the game and then immediately said "do it again!".
Rock's basketball season is over, but I think he had fun even if he didn't win best dressed.
He's still proud of the gap in his mouth where he lost his teeth.
We let the kids come out on our date and enjoyed Troy's Pizza with us.
Ryker was scared from the bad guys, so Rock helped him beat the level.
Jensley loves playing as a ninja with her brothers' ninja costumes.
She also loves playing with my Duck Commander duck call.  When the boys found out that it was used to call ducks Rock exclaimed "now we can take bread down to the lake and call the ducks to feed them!".

DeA response was a little unexpected: "And you can go down every day at the same town and call the ducks and then when duck season starts Daddy will kill all the ducks!"  Rock's face was a combination of horror and shock.
We've mentioned before that Ryker loves his sleep, even when Rock doesn't let him sleep peacefully.
He also loves being the blue Power Ranger.
Oh, and have we mentioned that Jens loves food?  She really does.
The boys like their food, too but they seem to like Sponge Bob pjs more.

It's almost as if they love each other.
And that's about the point that Jens had enough of the love.
The kids found a box of packing peanuts and had themselves a ton of fun.
Ryker was pretty proud of his Lego creation.
He is fantastically excited about how handsome he is.

Christmas Views From a Real Camera

Ryker loves jumping, bouncing and yelling.  The trampoline blends all those loves into one happy place.
Rock really loves his arts, crafts and explosives table.
Jens loves cuddling with her pretty mommy and rubbing her bellybutton.
He's flexing while pretending that he's not flexing.
Papa Dale, Mama Rae and my siblings came over to watch the kids go crazy.

After every present Ryker yelled "this is what I always wanted!"
After every present Jens found someone to cuddle with and call her pretty.
Rock loved his superhero stuff and posing nonchalantly for Mama Rae's pictures that I can only assume will end up on her blog very soon....very, very soon.

"Just a second, Mom.  I'm going to bounce before my next present!"

More Christmas Funzies!

Jens is just barely old enough to realize that Christmas is awesome, but still too young to realize that she gets cool stuff for being good.  Lucky for her she is a pretty good little girl.
Rock knows he has to deliver the good behavior, so he made Christmas decorations.  The orange-ish cololored stocking in the middle has a cape, because everything can have a cape.
Jens has found a good way to pass the time while DeA runs on the treadmill.
Jens had a choice of being petty and jealous towards her new baby cousin or be loving and adorable around lil' Kassidy.  She chose both...
I think she and Huddy are forming an alliance to help return the attention that they deserve.
This guys are so used to losing attention to younger babies that they are just happy to do their thing.
In fact, they especially love lil' Kassidy.
We had a big Christmas dinner with everyone that was here.  DeA thought we looked like Duck Dynasty without the beards.
Jens' big present was a kitchen set that took over four hours to put together.  I think she might be a little young to understand what she's supposed to do in the kitchen.  I guess she figures that Mommy always has her sit on the real counters, so maybe she's supposed to get up on the play ones, too.
Ryker got a trampoline and a video game and thoroughly enjoyed them both.
Rock loved all his (and Ryker's) superhero toys.
They made sure that things kept moving while opening presents at Mama Rae's house.

Dad got the best kind of toilet paper there is.
Jens received lots of frilly and pink clothes.
Marie gave the boys cute superhero hooks to hang their stuff on, and so Rock hangs his costume for the next day.
 More bab Kassidy loves.
Capt. America knows how to be patient and wait for more cuddles with Kassidy.
Cuddles and kisses.

On an unrelated notes, it turns out that Jens likes green peppers.
Jens still loves her little belly button, even when dead asleep.
Nothing helps relieve the holiday stress like a nice relaxing bubble bath.
It's especially relaxing to have a personal rinser.
We rednecked it up New Years Day and had a shooting and bonfire party.  Uncle Doug made sure to get his hot dogs before any of the greedy kids got theirs.
All that shooting can sure wear a little ninja out.
We finished the celebration off with a delicious trip to La Brisa!
 Mmm...homemade enchilada burritos!
