Sweet Stuff

As an investment towards future issues I ordered DeAndra flowers with a lady bug treat. Jensley was pretty excited about the ladybug.

Poli had his crazy birthday party which meant delicious Chayo food and a yummy cake. Ryker went straight for the sweets.

We took a weekend trip to see Uncle Nick, visit the zoo and swim at the hotel. The kids enjoyed all of it.
We tried to make breakfast easy by just grabbing McDonald's (breakfast is the only thing we'll let them eat there because it's the only thing that is delicious). One hotcake meal wasn't enough fuel for Ryker. All the swimming created a fierce hunger in his belly.
The kids loved the zoo but weren't so thrilled with the real animals.

Rock had been watching a lot of an animal show so was happy to spout off information about the giraffes, hippos and elephants.
Jens couldn't just let her brother get his picture with the giraffe without getting hers, too.
They were really excited and had a lot of fun...initially.

There's a boa behind them that they were begging to see the whole day.
After about three hours one kid was crying because his legs were tired, another was crying because he wanted more nachos and the third was screaming "I DO like ice cream. I DO!" while sitting on the sidewalk.
They all slept in the car during the TWO HOUR, ten mile drive back to the hotel. I mean, come on, Seattle. This was a Saturday and it took two hours to get through downtown. Stop screwing over your citizens with stupid regulation and initiatives and fix your real freaking problems.

Anyhoo...after the anps, ice cream and tacos they were excited to get back into the pool. Not quite energetic but excited.

Sunday we got to pick up Whitni and Madbum at the airport and bring them to Manson. We stopped for food and the kids immediately started pestering Madison once she was accessible.

I hope she doesn't like her alone time because she didn't get any of it.

Ryker wasn't cool with the newbie getting all the attention so he wiggled his way onto Mama Rae's lap.
Whit wanted to go to La Brisa and Jens did not argue. She loves eating a whole bowl of beans with just one chip.
Ryker likes to steal someone's tortilla and stuff his cheese enchilada inside, then eat it before it falls apart in his lap.
Madison was only allowed to watch and try to steal food from Mama Rae's fork as it passed by.

  1. That was a mouthful. Not to mention all the servings you passed on.
