Saul Run

Every year we look forward to the Saul Gallegos Memorial Run. Even the kids get excited and decked out in their running gear.

They helped Papa Dale set up the sound system.
Eventually she was asked to leave the microphone alone and found Mommy's hand.
Rock taught his siblings the importance of warming up before a race.
The race started and DeA took off aiming to win the 10K.
I slowly started with the kids at a slightly slower pace.

Ryker tried to run as fast as he could...but that didn't last very long.
Jens' little legs didn't hold up very well.
After walking, running and carrying Ryker and Jens we finally made it to Mama Rae's water stand. Shortly after that I found Rock who had run the whole race to that point.
Rock ran almost the entire 5k with only a few stops. The watermelon was a sweet reward.
Chayo is the best and loved stealing Max from his stroller.

After the run we went out on the river with the Hinckley's. The kids loved riding in the tube.

Even DeA and Kendra enjoyed the water.

Hamming it Up and Arizona

Jensley asked me to take her picture and then acted like a silly goober.
Ryker let me take his picture but wasn't as creative.

Ryker started to get into the swing of it, but now quite as into it as his sister.

 Ryker loves his sleep.
Sleep isn't as important to Jens, she's happy to run around stealing attention.

She also steals food from the counter if DeA isn't paying attention.

She still sleeps, but usually it's against her will after she's tried her hardest to stay awake.
I didn't get a lot of pictures of it but in June DeA and I flew to Arizona for Lindsey and Greg's wedding. She spent most of her time holding baby Dalton.
We also ate a lot of ice cream, but part of that was because it was 110 degrees down there.
