Birthday Rock and Jens the Woodworker

Rock and his big hair turned 12. He requested biscuits and gravy with a side of biscuits and honey.
He requested La Brisa for dinner. That's always a winner. He brought along Colby and Jerry for support.
Of course he had to wear the sombrero while we sang happy birthday.
Ryker wanted to make sure he was in the picture.
The post party moved to the house for some Nintendo action.
The weather is barely warm enough to go for walks. I don't know why Ryker dresses like this.
Leo seems to love the walks.
Jens decided to make the walk more beneficial by doing sprints.
The floors are in. We like them.
DeA spent a lot of time investigating them.
It's a different look than most people are going for right now, but we like it.
Zach Schoenwald hooked us up with some apple wood chunks to make mantles. Jens helped me clean them up.
It was fun to work with her.
She was a hard worker for about half an hour. Then she asked to be excused and never came back.
It was fun to have her help.
Dad bought some trees for Mom's new garden. We tried to plant them but the ground was pretty rocky.
Leo tried to help by getting in the way.
Digging was a little slow because of the rocks. They even broke a shovel trying to dig.
We only got one tree in the ground. It's a freaking quarry up here.
Hockey isn't even over yet, and here the kids are already playing baseball. I'm not complaining.
The mantles that Jens and I made turned out great.

 The toothless wonders.
