A Trip to Mexico

It's important to remind DeA why she married me, and it's easier to do that while she's sitting on a beach in warm sunshine. We left bright and early on Friday morning. DeA was so proud of herself for waking up easily at 3:30am.
She passed out almost immediately after the previous picture. I'm not sure that she even moved her head before she started to snore softly.
She had a very peaceful flight.
It left her very chipper and happy on the van ride to the resort.
Obviously it was nice and relaxing to walk into a room with a beach view.
We walked into Bucerias for dinner and got to witness a fine moment of Mexican ingenuity. It's amazing how much gets done when you don't have to worry about silly things like worker and bystander safety.
It was a pretty great way to start the trip.
We hit the buffet breakfast the first morning. She loves her papaya and I knocked out a few plates of chilaquiles and beans. Unfortunately, they increased the price of the buffet since we were here two years ago. It seems like a jump from 16/person to 45!!!/person is a little excessive and we did not eat there again.
DeA started to feel some swelling in her eyelid, so we spent some time finding totally legal Mexican pharmaceutical grade anti-inflammatories that knocked that swelling right down.
It might seem silly, but I like visiting church on our vacations. The concha is from the deli right before we got into the taxi. The taxi was too clean to eat in, so I did the right think and waited until church.
A Spanish sacrament meeting made it hard on DeA to stay awake.

The warm sunshine was exactly what she was craving after a long, cold, miserable winter.
And beach nachos, obviously she craved those too.
We found a hidden little jazz cafe that DeA really loved because it felt clean.
We met a little friend while chilling on the beach.
DeA wasn't a big fan of the restaurant the next night because it didn't feel so clean. The mole was good though.
We worked out most days, the view was pretty great.

It took us a couple of tries to get the final selfie just right.
DeA deleted most of our attempts.
