Beefcakes at the Table

There was a time when our little Ryker was a little butterball, but now he's all beefcake.  He's not afraid to take his shirt off anytime, anywhere.
It's nice that he's so confident, but it makes it hard to get him to eat when he's busy flexing the chiseled pipes.

Rock is a little more reserved about his physique, and he prefers to drive the ladies mad with his shirt-tie-hat getup.  It makes the ladies guess, and that drives them crazy.  Also, they go nuts over his snot-stache.
At dinner the other night he decided to try the Tobasco Sauce again.  Before it didn't go so well.
Ryker was happy to stick with safe things, like plastic lids.
Rock handled the Tabasco sauce a little better this time, but still didn't think that it went well with apple sauce.
Rock likes to call people on the phone, and if they don't answer he says "call me back!".
Ryker has learned how to kick his feet up while at the dinner table, and he's also learned to push himself over backwards.  Mommy isn't sure that she's thrilled about either new talent.
I came home from dinner tonight to homemade chicken cordon bleu!  It was especially nice since DeA hates working with chicken (or any meat).  She did a great job, so I thought it needed documented on the blog.  Mmm...bleu...
Rock saw me taking pictures of my food, so of course he had to take some pics of his own.  His pics might almost be better than mine.

Right before the boys went to bed it started snowing hard.  They wanted to go outside and play in it, but had to settle for the window.
Eventually they ended up wrestling like bear cubs, and Ryker is starting to fight back a little better.
His favorite tactic is still to try and crawl away to his mommy.

He is starting to learn how to throw his haymaker with more authority, and once he learns how to land it he will be able to play with whichever of Rock's toys he wants to.

Catching Up on Stuff.

Pics of Rock watering our front bushes always make me laugh.  I've noticed lately that DeA seems to think that I'm to blame for them.
I don't know why she'd think that.
A few FHE's ago Rock said that for the activity he wanted to tell Moroni good night.  When we lived in Oregon we could see the temple from his room, and so every night he would blow Moroni kisses and say good night.  When we got to Bellevue he wants to snap some pictures of us first.
Then he wanted a picture of him and Moroni himself.  He's rocking the rain boots, Cars pjs and a Mariners helmet, the perfect temple outfit.
On the way home he called Mama Zista and Papa Dave to tell them about his time at the temple.
The boys are still loving their Christmas presents.  Rock has been cruising the ave and picking up chicks on Ryker's pushing toy.

Ryker is more able to roam around unbothered now that Rock has new toys to keep him busy.
Since the boys are playing hard, they are also crashing hard.
Rock is pretty proud of himself lately.  Want to know what he did?  I'll let him tell you:

It ended up looking something like this:
Yeah, he was pretty proud of himself.
Also, he likes his twisty straw to drink the milk.
I'm amazed at how cute our little Wyker is becoming.  He's showing off his little smile more and more.

He's also showing off his one single, solitary, lonely tooth.  It's about freaking time he popped out a tooth.
Oh, and we've finally gotten this on tape:

A Second Christmas!!

We survived our trip back home from a sweet Christmas in Oregon.  We only were subjected to two 15+ mile parking lots because of wrecks, and at one point were on a back road between Corvallis, OR and Betsy's Diner.  I had a good week running the office, and then we took off for Manson and New Year's.  Rock got a four day head start, and by the time we got there was foaming at the mouth to open some more Christmas presents!!  He got the ball going by giving Ryker a gift to open.
"Help!  My little baby hands are no match for this heavy-duty tape!"
Rock ended up taking over for Gyky, and loved showing off his toys to his little brother.
 "Thank you, Second Santa!"
Rock added to his sweet shwag from Oregon, and was super wired until about 5:30 am.

Second Christmas was good for me, too!  The only problem with my sweet sweatshirt is that white isn't the best color with two little kids.
Towards the end of the present opening, Rock started to see that there weren't as many presents any more.
That's about when the sleepiness started to kick in.
Ryker was a big fan of his presents, but he still wasn't sure what was going on.
Rock definitely loves to play with tractors that both his grandpas have, and now he can pull his own weight around the work site.

He was even cool about letting Gyker play with the controls, but he would let him dump anything.
Gyker liked the tractor, but he decided to wait and grow a little bigger.  Fruit pouches will help him grow strong enough to play with real tractors.
This morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise, all covered in snow.  So pretty.
Gyker got right to work this morning playing with his and Rock's toys.  That's what happens when you grow big and strong...and Rock sleeps in later than you do.
