Apple Blossom

Our traditional England Chiropractic/Lake Chelan Helicopters float for Apple Blossom was a big success.
Jens broke into the candy early to make sure she got what's hers
DeA brought along Winnie Puppy to attract the most attention.
Ryker and Jens manned the helicopter
 Jens was pretty excited.
 Winnie was a big hit.

The parade was so exciting that Ryker couldn't hold it in any longer.

Ryker didn't like passing out the candy, but he's willing to do what has to be done.
Winnie puppy used to cuddle so well when she was little.

Winnie Puppy

Our kids love dogs, especially cuddly and friendly dogs.
This is Purdy, she is the Schoenwald's dog that loves their cuddles and attention.
Recently I found a Craigslist ad for lab puppies about two and a half hours away. After messaging back and forth with the owner she asked if we could meet her boyfriend in Ellensburg to pick up the puppy. After a miscommunication between the couple we ended up driving to George via Ellensburg to meet a poor guy that had to do training the next morning. He did deliver the promised puppy which was much, much smaller than I expected. But she was also much cuter than I anticipated, as well.

Everyone loved cuddling her and giving her loves and attentions.
She started out in the house, despite someone's bold proclamation that the puppy would be an outdoor and garage dog.
Winchester was what Rock picked out, Winnie for short.

So little, so adorable.

Even Uncle Nick enjoys her cuddles and Purina farts.

A Jensley Party with the Mariners

Jens picked a Mariners game for her birthday. Rock carefully packed his things and then hanged them in the hotel closet. He's more organized than I will ever be.
Lil' Jens had a hard time waking up in time for the hotel breakfast.
Rock woke up almost before the breakfast was open and helped himself to a five course meal.
For lunch we enjoyed delicious Chick-fil-A and Ryker went crazy for the chicken nuggets.
Rock always knows how to look the part.
When we arrived at our seats Ryker recovered a BP ball. He was stoked.
He was more stoked about the giant slice of pizza.
 My dainty little princess.
Some people say that you should never meet your heroes. Those people are dead wrong.
Ryker constantly begged Grandpa for trips to the concession stand.
Rock said he had a blast.
Jens had a full, exciting day and couldn't wait to hit the sheets after it was over.
The trip was a success, even the ride home was fun.

Running Out the School Clock

We had a perfect spring which kept the kids playing outside. Ninja Turtles, baseball players and princesses playing together in harmony.
Rock loved baseball, especially when he was able to play catcher.
Dioci's mom made us homemade enchiladas which made Jensley beam with glee.
Jens has turned into quite the fashionista.
To help Ryker succeed in school Grandpa bought him a Kratts Brothers Power Suit. I don't know how that was supposed to help him succeed but that was the story they told me.
Rock nailed his performance in the final concert of the year.
DeA and the kids took up roller blading. Jens demanded to know why Mommy didn't have to wear all the restrictive pads like she did.
Pads or not, she looked adorable.
All the roller blading paid off with a trip to La Brisa!
We set up a shooting range for the BB gun in the backyard. Ryker refused to take directions so this was his shooting form.
We tried to walk the roughly three miles to Grandpa and Grandma's house. We started out optimistically.
Rock was determined to finish the trek.
Ryker (he's the black spec up ahead) was on a quick and steady pace. About thirty seconds after this picture he turned around and asked to ride my shoulders. The problem was Jens was already begging to ride my shoulders and Rock was demanding to turn around and get the car. We called GPA and he came to rescue us.
Jens was a big help mowing the lawn.
We celebrated Dad's birthday at Apple Cup. Maddy made the perfect cake.

It's never a party without Chayo.
