Birthday for a Rock

Holy crap, can you believe that this kid is already five?  I know I can't...
Even Ryker was in disbelief, but some of that might have been trying a pizza that wasn't Hawaiian.
I asked if he was happy for Rock and he made this face, so maybe?
Rock was so excited all day that he started waking me up at 5 am asking if he could open presents and get dressed for school.
He got a pretty sweet haul, including a "Red Mario Kart shirt" from Hudson (Ryker calls it a red Mario shirt only because on Mario Kart there is red Mario and Green Mario, Luigi).
Notice the frosting all around his mouth.  He liked his cake.
Ryker also really, really liked his cake (please note that Chayo, Lindsea, Hudister Huddy Pants and Babis are in the background - thanks for coming everybody!
Lil' Deano brought Rock a sweet bulldozer!  Thanks Deano and Wyatt!
Ryker latched on to the Red Mario shirt and hasn't taken it off yet (yet is now 36 hours later...).
Ruth got Rock a super duper awesome Batman suit that does a great job of showing off Rock's natural muscles.
Jensley got a kiss from one of her brothers that left a frosting mark on her cheek.  Pretty cute.
Later that night we went to Mama Rae's house for Mario Kart.  Ryker has been a Mario Kart junkie lately.
Like a literal junkie who spazzes out when he doesn't get to play.
While the boys play MK Jensley sits on the floor and tries to steal their controllers while eating her munchies.
And then when she succeeds in stealing a controller she laughs "WYAHAHAHA!!".
It's hard not to let her steal your controller when she looks at you with those big pretty eyes.
Batman has been Batman almost the whole time since the party.
In other news, Jensley's mullet is getting ridiculous.  We aren't allowed to cut it because there's some rule that little girl's hair just grows and grows.
We sent rock about 30 balloons to school and DeA called me crying because all the kids on the playground had one.  She was proud of her little boy for sharing, even thought I'm sure Juliana made him share.
It's almost weird to go back and see how our little guy has grown and progressed:
First birthday
Second birthday.
Third Birthday
Fourth birthday
Happy Birthday Rocko!

  2. I wish I was that mature at 5. He deserves to have a blast, sorry I missed it. He is lucky to have so many in his life that want him to be happy.
