A Very Cabo Vacation

DeA had never been out of the USA, so after she secured her passport we ran away to Cabo San Lucas. We found a great condo right by the water with a sweet view.
The waiter at breakfast the first morning wrapped DeA in a blanket so she didn't feel chilled. She was happy until she realized that she had no idea how many other people had worn that same blanket.
It wasn't hot but it was warm enough to enjoy the kiss of the sun.
We enjoyed a lot of good food out by the water.
DeA had a choice of swimming with the dolphins or riding camels. For some reason she chose camels.
I wasn't sure about it, but she was pretty excited. They made us wear these Lawrence of Arabia helmets.

The ride also included a tour of the vegetation. They said this was a 200 year-old cactus.

They also taught us how to make homemade tortillas.

 Here is the stinking camel.
She wouldn't let Winnie near her face but she'll french a camel.
This is what we looked like on the beach.
Surprisingly there was an awesome Argentine restaurant near our condo. It was fantastic and I made DeA go back the next night. We even ordered them out of their alfajores.
One day we decided that we wanted to go see the arch and the rest of the point. It was really easy to just walk down to the dock and find a boat looking for a ride.

On the boat with us was a nice Argentine family on vacation. The husband offered to take our picture in front of the arch. He handed the phone back and said "that turned out nice". I looked at my phone to find only this picture.
He offered to re-take the picture and this one turned out better.
My Halloween costume is all picked out and ready to go.
 More Argentine food! Asado!
One of the things that DeA wanted to do was ride in a bici-taxi. This was our driver.
 DeA was pretty excited.

We found a lot of really good food.
 I found better company.
The water was too cold and the jelly fish bloom too prickly for DeA's tastes, but I had fun in the water.
DeA enjoyed a giant virgin Pina Colada on her last night. She might have regretted not ordering them earlier.
Our last breakfast was in the airport after we grossly overestimated how long it would take to get through the security. We had a great trip but I will never be allowed back in Mexico since DeA thinks she might have seen a topless sunbather
