Breaking the Wintertime Blues

This winter has been expecially long and dark. Even Rock has succumbed to the Seasonal Affectionate Disorder and started sleeping more than six hours a day.
Ryker has started to crack to the point he's laying out his clothes like Rock used to do.
Jens has tried to chase away cabin fever with some roller blading. But it's a little difficult to roller blade in a foot of snow.
The high school basketball games were a great way to get out and about. It got a little awkward when DeA tried to steal a baby.
Rock's birthday party was a fun way to spend time together. He was even given a free ice cream sundae at Bob's Burgers.
The two kids that loved us enough to go crashed hard on the way home (Ryker wanted to stay with Mama Rae).
Mom and Dad re-did their carpet and had to be out of the house for a few nights. That meant the kids were able to go swimming. Jens wore herself plumb out.

The cold weather has been hard on all of us, but Rock seemed to take it the hardest. He loves sleeping with his shirt off but with the cold nights that meant parking on the floor in front of the space heater.
Even poor little Max was worn out to the max.

DeA had a fun date with lunch at the Wild Huckleberry.
Exercise is one of the best ways to beat the blues. The kids took turns going with me to True Fitness and working out.
Ty had a blast seeing each of the kids and helped them with their form.
Rock worked pretty hard and was pretty pooped.
 He might need a haircut.
Ryker took the second shift and pumped himself up.
 Battle ropes!!
Jens was last and did some amazing plyo.
 More battle ropes!!
