Spring Training!!

The schedule seemed to make sense to hit Vancouver for the Canucks and then drive down to SeaTac to fly to spring training. That might not have been the best idea, everyone was worn out and we were worried about crossing the border and feeding everyone. Eventually we got on the plane and everyone could relax.

We got to Whit's before Lakai went to bed, but he looked as if he wished he had gone to bed.
Hampa and Ryker took off early the first morning to get CFA breakfast.
That helped Lakai warm up a little.
The kids might be getting too big to jam into the back of a minivan.
The first day of practice was a lot of fun, it was only Lakai because Whit made her older kids go to school.
We watched Julio and Cal and JP hit BP
Lakai explored the bleachers.
The kids seemed to have a competition to see who Lakai would like the most.
Gathering foul balls is one of the kids' favorite ST activities.
The girls bonded together to fight against the boys.
The nightly Culver's stop is always a hit.
Everyone came to practice on Thursday and the kids ran and chased minor league players.

I love now that the kids are older that we can sit and watch practice and talk about what is going on and they understand and learn from it.
Cami took her own infield practice.
Gang signs at Culver's
Cami thought it was funny to grab Rock's noodle hair with chopsticks.
Ryker's birthday was a big deal. He got a cool Bass Pro Shops hat from Uncle Stewie.
Jens and Madison got some pretty cool autographs, like Luis Castillo
Rick Rizz, the Voice of the Mariners.
Andre Munoz
We found even more foul balls.
Ryker's birthday lunch was at In-and-Out.

Stewie's kids definitely knew their way around an In-and-Out
We all went to Top Golf that evening.
Dad talked the waitress into bringing some birthday donuts.
Brando loved all of it.
Friday was a little bit of a recovery day, since kids were getting worn out.
Saturday started with some soccer games for MadBum and D-rell.
Ryker doesn't understand that he's getting a little too big to be a lap puppy anymore.
Because of the kids' sports, we end up going down right as games begin. We got to watch the M's play the White Sox in the worst spring training stadium in AZ.
It was a warm, sunny day and the game was a lot of fun.
Ryker might have put a little too much sunscreen on.

It was another great year, we missed Nick but it was still fun.
Ryker ordered some smart glasses for his birthday and, after some drama, he finally got them set up with three adaptors and like four cords.
We came home to 30mph winds and DeA immediately looked and plane tickets back to Mesa.
