A Very Funzee Weekend and Rock's Speech

Jensley has really enjoyed her team's softball practice.
Her pitching has improved, it's probably all the practice throwing her squishy balls into the taped square on her bedroom wall.
We had to celebrate Jens' birthday on Friday night. We did an old fashioned Company Creek pizza party with Max and his Karen haircut.
Brownies and ice cream while Max asks to speak with the manager.
Birthday presents from Mama Zista!
Saturday morning started very early with the first bus to Ritzville leaving at 6:45. Jens woke up for birthday pancakes at 7 and left for the Wenatchee Youth Apple Blossom Parade.
Leo decided by the second trip to the school that he would just wait in the van for the next shuttle run.
Karen Max had a flag football game in Brewster, across the street from Rock's double header. Javi conveniently got stuck on the lake on opening day and Rissa had to coach the team. I came and rescued Sofia from seeing her mom get ejected by an 8th grade referee. She pretended to miss her mom.
She slowly calmed down when we were in our chair.
She really liked having the hat for shade and I could tell that she wasn't going to be awake much longer.
She slept through the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings.
She tried to wake up, but decided to hide from the world instead.
I had to help a player with back pain, and Janel Lyman held her for me.
Rissa showed up to retrieve her daughter, and as soon as Sofia heard her mom's voice she cried like she was being tortured. She turned that display off very quickly.
Trojans beat Brewster for just the second time in 20ish years.
We had to re-group and stay the night in Wenatchee because Rock was invited to speak in the youth session of conference at 8am. He looked so excited.
He did a great job and no one asked him to sit down in the middle of his talk.
