Lil' Baby Bristol had her blessing in Sultan. We couldn't get over on Saturday, so we drove Sunday morning. It was the calmest drive to church in my life.
Church started at 10. We were able to get there at 9:40 but there were about 20 people standing outside. About five minutes before the meeting someone with a key showed up to open the chapel. An older guy was hurrying to set up the sacrament and then walked around the chapel looking. He stopped by me and made eye contact and I asked if he needed sacrament help. He gratefully nodded yes. I grabbed Rock and Ryker, and Lindsea pushed Huddy out of his pew. Huddy was pretty nervous, so I told him that it would be just like Georgia. He, in a not-so-reverent tone, whispered back "this is nothing like Georgia! We don't have benches in Georgia!". It all went very well and Bristol's blessing was excellent. We all gathered for a family picture, but not everyone was excited about it.Nick separated the two sides so that it would be easier to crop us out.
Mom has this Aladdin lamp, I turned it into a 10 Virgins prop.
Luca was pretty impressed.
Dad needed his truck dropped off at Totem Pole, so I loaded my scooter in the back because it sounded fun. Lindsea told Mom and Mom didn't think that that sounded safe and sent her to come get me. She asked where I was, this was my response:
By the time she caught up to me, I was stopped by a deputy that I knew and who wanted to see the sweet scooter. Meanwhile, Jens has been dealing with an angry gall bladder while we wait for her surgery.
There have been many porch sitting nights.
I think Huddy enjoyed the attention on his birthday, but it was kind of hard to tell.
DeA and I drove the boys to FSY for a week in Seattle. Not just Seattle, but stupid downtown Seattle at Seattle University. They were excited.
Javi is feeling the patriotic spirit this summer.
Dad made a bunch of hamburgers for the impromptu family reunion. Leo really really wanted to help.
Jensley ate a bunch of blueberries and then had a gall bladder attack and vomited. DeA just about fainted when she walked in to see the toilet like this:
Leo liked being a people and sitting on the porch with everyone else.
