The Dress

Jens has a new pretty red dress.  For some reason she doesn't like her red dress.

Her big brothers tried to help her be happy.

It worked a little bit, but she still was grumpy.

We couldn't figure out but she was not happy with her dress.

So the boys tried more hugs and loves...

and while she would get distracted and happy for a minute...

She just wasn't happy.  In fact, she was pretty mad.

She cried big, wet tears.

It was sad to see her sad but she looked so pretty.

As soon as she got out of her dress she was super happy.

Really, really happy.

So, our theory is that she sees her brothers running around in clothes that aren't dresses.  

In other news, Ryker's hair was getting pretty shaggy, so we pinned him down and shaved it all off.

So, this is what he looks like now.  Pretty adorable.

We had Megan and her seven kids over for dinner last night.  There was a little bit of energy in the house.

While the mayhem was going on in the other room the adults found refuge in the dining room area.
