Getting Settled

Thanks to Mawma Zista's help last week Rock now has a pretty cool toy room. He likes to hang out in there drinking root beers and eating Cheetos.
Ryker found a comfy little spot of his own.
Occasionally DeA will let Rock and Ryker play on the floor. Initially she plans on letting them play for an hour or so, but so far the record is 34 seconds before she has to stop them.
She did discover that if she pulls out the camera that she can get them to play nice, since they like attention.
Rock knows what cameras are, and knows what to do for them.
Sometimes Rock just leaves Ryker scratching his head wondering what is going on.
We are still getting used to not being really close to family like we were in Oregon, but it is nice to be close enough for weekend trips. This week Bampa and Mawma England brought us a dresser and enjoyed some R & R.
Ryker is finally smiling for the camera, and he is pretty sure that he could get used to the attention that smiling brings. That kind of attention is much better than the attention that crying brings.
DeA found out that Mawma and Bampa Judd might be coming next weekend, and that would mean that we'd almost have visitors every week for the first month that we are here! To celebrate she clipped her toenails in the car.
DeA found out that there is a pretty cool and massive mall just down the street from our house, and so she loves to spend as much time there as we can.

Can anyone notice what is wrong with this picture?
We are in the process of acquiring a double stroller, but for now we only have a single. So, Rock gets to lay on the bottom and then Ryker's carseat sits on top. It worked out great for a little bit...
but then it didn't work out so well.
Ryker didn't seem to have any problems with the arrangement.
Rock knows exactly where the play area is, and so he made Bampa come with him and push the other kids off of his toys.

Southcenter has a pretty decent food court, and so Rock got to enjoy three kinds of ketchup: Charley's, Wendy's and Ivar's. He sat and ranked them according to color, texture and taste.

Unfortunately, Mawma had to get back to play the organ in church. The last thing Bampa showed Rock before he left was how to wear undies on top of your head. Rock tried to hear his BVDs up there all afternoon and evening to try and bring Bampa and Mawma back.
Eventually he snagged the keys and tried to drive to Manson...but he couldn't reach the break and gearshift at the same time to put the car in reverse. So, eventually he settled for a trip to the grocery store. Yup, that's right, we are officially boring married people who think a trip to Winco is a fun way to spend a Saturday night. Sad.
