Lakeview Is Open!!

One of the rites of spring is when Lakeview Drive-through opens.  We like to get there first thing in the spring and then again in the fall, when the lines don't look like this:
It was a perfect day for visiting Lakeview, not a lot of tourists and quite a few locals.  Rock had plenty of space to pose for pictures with his 'normal' smiles.
This year they added a large grass field for the boys to release their wiggles while waiting for fries and chicken strips.
Rock invented a game called 'hide and don't take a picture'.  He hides and tries to avoid getting his picture taken. He could play it for hours.
Ryker decided that it was a fun game, too.
He added a little twist where he would randomly take off running to escape.
Rock also thought it would be great to climb the tree.  The tree didn't think it was as great of an idea.
The boys have mastered the art of eating and running.  They come to the table and take a bit, then run off and chase ducks.
After the chicken strips the boys and DeA enjoyed the delicious bubble gum ice cream.
Ryker tried to protect Mommy by telling the dirty, filthy, disease filled birds to go way.
They like their ice cream.
And they like not posing normally for pictures.
Sometimes the little tornadoes can be so calm and well-behaved...
even with a ketchup face.
"Go Away, duckies!  Mommy doesn't want your unclean selves around!"
Rock wore his Seahawks uniform along with matching hiking belt.  At least this time he matched his shirt and pants.

  1. It was going great, until that bubblegum ice cream. Guess that just leaves more of the good stuff for the rest of us.
