Jensley Rename

Between the boys being mad and everyone calling us hillbillies...we've officially changed Pebbles middle name to Michelle.

In other news, some mysterious red and yellow helicopter buzzed the hospital today.  I didn't get the camera ready until he was flying away, but I still managed to get a pic.
She gets more adorable by the day.

  1. Michelle is pretty, but I liked Mae, too. By "boys" do you mean Rock and Ryker? I pity their wives if they are already so decisive about names! ;)

  2. No matter the name, she will be worth keeping.

  3. How about Maegan? I think Mae is a beautiful "vintage" name.

  4. First of all, congratulations on a healthy baby! I am jealous of a perfect daughter. Secondly, I admit that I am unduly bothered by the name change. I don't know the ruckus behind the "hillbilly" charge. I assume Aaron and DeAndra put a lot of time and effort into finding a beautiful name for their beautiful daughter. I also assume that Jensley is perfectly formed in body and sound in mind. Thankfully DeAndra came through the delivery in one piece. If Jensley's greatest challenge in life turned out to be her middle name, she'd be one darn lucky girl. I would give my daughter the middle name of Edna Edith Matilda Mae if only she could be whole and living with me. I think we lose sight of what is most important and it's not if we necessarily agree with a naming or not. Thanks for letting me state my piece.

  5. Sorry Tonya, I made this renaming thing sound a lot more dramatic that it really was. We just started naming off names that sounded good with Jensley. The family names were all a no-go because they didn't flow well or sound right. We were down to Mae and Michelle and basically just flipped a coin for Mae. So it's not like we were forced into changing it, we just didn't realize that people like Michelle as much as they did. Also, the hillbilly part was a joke and not really a consideration.

  6. Good to know, Aaron! Thanks for the clarification. I was really worried if you'd been pressured to change Jens' name. I'm just glad she's here and healthy and that surgery went well for DeAndra.
