Busy, Busy October

We went to La Brisa to celebrate cleaning the church (feels like we do it about once a month lately). Ryker caught me not paying attention and ordered the carne asada platter. At least he's proud of himself.
Jensley's window is coming along nicely.
We visited our former neighbor Marie. She has an old school TV that fascinated Ryker.
Leo came to the office with me and Sara put a Seahawks jersey on him to celebrate the season.
You can tell from his face that he wasn't a fan. He wouldn't walk around while wearing it.
Football has been going well, but it is wearing out the boys.
General Conference means donuts, at least to the kids. DeA hates this tradition, because she hates the mess and noise and mess and clatter.
The kids love it though, I guess that's the important thing.
Glazing is always their preferred job.
Meanwhile, Rock and DeA enjoy conference by trying to sleep on the couch while pretending to pay attention.
The boys wanted to help Gpa with apple harvest, but didn't want to share the front seat in the truck.
DeA loves explaining to people touring the house why they need to take their shoes off now, just to set the precedent for when the house is done.
Jens wanted to visit Grandpa Leo and Grandma Helen's grave for FHE.
We brought them apples and I told stories about them to the kids.
The school knows how busy we are this time of year, and that is why they scheduled things like crazy hair day now.
I guess crazy is the right word for this.
Rock complains that we are always asking him to clean up his stuff from the living room. And yet, he always seems to think the living room is his staging area.
The boys have been having fun with football, even if some times it's a bit of a chore to get them to games and practices.
Rock has been playing linebacker this year. He enjoys shooting the gaps and making plays.
Ryker came home after a physical game and said he was going to take a break. He slept for over an hour, sat up and told me he was just resting his eyes, then laid back down.
He woke up refreshed and ready to go another hour later.
 Harvest is off and running.
Jensley is losing teeth like crazy. She is going to be a gummy Jens here soon.
Grandma and Grandpa built a brand new house with lots of comfortable spaces. This is where Jens decides to spend her time.

  1. Football players are looking good. I love the looks on the boys faces in the truck with dad.

  2. The kids are all so fun at this age. They went to hockey with me last night and were perfect. I can't wait for them to be neighbors. Wish the other gkids were closer.
