Bits and Pieces of Coronalife

Life has been weird during Corona, but some things are still normal. Like Leo's fear of missing out. He had to join us when the kids and I went to pick up firewood for the new fireplace.
He didn't seem to mind missing out on the work part of the trip.

The one thing that DeA isn't in love with at the new house is the pack rat issue. We caught 11 rats the first 14 days of living in the new house.
Leo really wants to help with the rat issue, but DeA is pretty adamant that he isn't allowed to help.
Some rats are big, but others are little babies.
On-line schooling isn't the best, so the kids have been coming to the office to get a break from their new teacher that is overwhelmed.
They really love the enchiladas!
Dad and I hung up the TV in the living room. DeA wasn't convinced that we had it squared and centered.
She really, really wasn't convinced.
In the end she couldn't really complain because we nailed that sucker.
Rock has been helping Jens learn how to ride a bike. She figured it out at one point, but then winter hit and wasn't able to ride for months and is re-learning.
More rats.
Welp, so much for the brand new floors.
The kitchen looks pretty DeA-ish. Clean, pretty, and elegant.
We've enjoyed having home church with Grandma and Grandpa. Rock the deacon seems to enjoy passing the sacrament to us.
Jens falls asleep in home church just like she does at real church.
DeA complains that 72 degrees is way too cold for a house, so she suns out on the porch like a lizard.
Mom made churros after church. They turned out delicioso.
The evenings have been great, with little fires and time in the wild flowers.

All the fluffy carpet, the new couches, the bean bag chair, and yet she lays there.
Hey! Another rat!
